One round of 18 holes.
Open division is $10 and is playing for cash.
Ams is $5 and playing for plastic payout. I'll bring a few boxes of plastic from all the major brands including Mint, Innova, Discraft, MVP, and Trilogy!
Optional ace pot of $5. Ace pot is at $570 plus half of what gets put in. Other half will go to the back up ace pot, currently at $210.

Thanks to everyone that came out to the House of the Flying Disc mini this morning at McClain! We had 17 ams and 8 open players.

Jimmy Martinez and Brian Schmidt tied for the winopen with a 53s and Chris Brock and Jeremiah Hinojosa tied for the win in ams with 52s!

No aces were hit.

Next House of the Flying Disc mini is next Friday, October 18th and the ace pot will be TBD by what happens at the tournament Sunday at The Zip, where the ace pot will be $500. What gets put in will go to the back up, which is now at $20.

Sunday,September 29, at the small Helotes course is this year's Discraft Ace Race!

There are just 6 spots left, so sign up now to secure your spot!

Quick rundown on this:
First of all, we're doing up 9 temp holes to make the course 18 holes instead of the usual 9. ALL the holes are aceable. First 9 holes will be the regular 9. So you get two Discraft prototype putters. You will only be using these two discs for the entire round. You throw both off the tee ONLY. You keep track of aces and metal hits only. Three top 3 players with the most aces/ metal hits will win discs from the prize pack sent by Discraft. There's also a special prize this year!
Really Luking forward to this one again. Last one Discraft had was in 2019. This will be a really fun time. Get ready to run it!

Joe Bledsoe won open with a 51 and Glenn Eaton won ams with a 54.

I want to post about this one more time before I order player packs for this tomorrow. I'm only going to order 10 or so extras. This isn't like most of my tournaments where you can sign up night before or day of.
BUT it's an unsanctioned great time with a sweet players pack from Discraft!! Plus it's an area tradition. We've had Discraft Ace Races in this area as long as I can remember!
Also, since we're adding 9 holes to make the Helotes Nature Area course (Baby H) 18 holes, please message me if you're able to bring a basket for that. I've got 3 of my own I plan on bringing. This is gonna be another really fun one!!
