That Shutter...

I was born in Southern California. I moved to San Antonio, Texas with my family just before school started and never left! All the times that I travelled Texas, it wasn’t until the sound of that shutter and what it captured that held me fascinated since high school. So I attended college, taking courses in web design, desktop publishing and the printing industry. To me, photography is an artistic expression of capturing images that elicit our emotions; to see the subject and either love it or question it’s composition and mood or ignore it. Photography is jumping into the stream of time and grabbing a nanosecond of it for remembrance. When the equipment is being put away, and it’s time to go home, that shutter sound is just a reminder that something wonderful was captured. That precious moment is what I look for each second of an event.
