Carlos stood at Camila’s door, bouquet in hand, his heart racing. When she opened it, her eyes were puffy from tears, but she was smiling.

“I didn’t know I could still feel this way,” Camila whispered. She led him inside, where she had already set up the roses in a vase, surrounded by candles.
