🇵🇦 FUN FACTS:⁠⁠ "Caitlin's grandfather who was in the Navy proposed to her grandmother at the Hotel Del Coronado years ago. We got to sign out names up in the turret during our photos. Caitlin had a handkerchief that was Benjamin Franklin's pinned under her dress during our wedding ceremony as its been passed down through her family for centuries and every girl in the family has it on her during their wedding."

Today we are sharing Rachel's Pre-Wedding Rituals!

🥣Eat a substantial and healthy breakfast/lunch with lots of protein.

📋️Read through Timeline for the millionth time.

☀️Apply sunscreen.

🖤Dress in all black, like a super-organized ninja.

🚗Load emergency bag into car along with snacks, water, phone charger, etc.

🌴Arrive at venue, put on f***y pack and nametag.

✔️It’s GO TIME!

🤑 Budget: Chair prices vary greatly, from $3 for simple folding chairs, to $40+ for fancy specialty chairs.

🖤 Impact: Do you want the chairs at your wedding to be visually subtle, or do you want them to have a bold impact on the overall event design?

🪑 Comfort: How long will your guests be sitting in them... do they need to be cushioned?

We love an outdoor wedding! And they are very common in San Diego, as our weather is amazing most of the time (so grateful!). However, when we get a random rainy day, what are the options for a rain back-up location? If the venue can accommodate moving the event indoors, that is the lowest cost option (sometimes no additional cost!).... the other option is booking a tent, which can cost a few thousand dollars (depending on the size of the tent, the material, the lighting, etc.). This is all good to think about *just in case* 💦

🚘️ Load all necessary décor and personal items from the couple and my wedding/event emergency kit into car

📱 Text my bride and groom HAPPY WEDDING DAY and see if they need me to bring any last minute items!

🖤 Dress in all black with comfy shoes!

Did you know... a groom's boutonniere can be made with flowers to correspond to his bride/partner's bouquet/florals, so they "match" each other?!

Another fun idea many floral designers have is to make the groom's boutonniere a bit different than his groomsmen's boutonnieres, so he is differentiated among the group of men.
