Stevie Mac, a man who was equally full of s**t as he was full of life. There are some people when you hear about them passing you don’t think too much about it, especially when you get up in age, but these last few years we’ve all lost more friends and family to things we’d almost never expect and so it’s been harder lately than it was before 2020 and Stevie Mac is one I’d never thought I’d ever hear about.
No matter how Stevie was in your life, wether you couldn’t wait to see him or were mad at him for nothing that important, Stevie has always been larger than life, at least much larger than the body he was given to walk the earth in. I can’t say that I liked him that much longer than I was ever annoyed or pi**ed off at him. However, I have loved him for being who he is pretty much since the very first time I met him. He has connected so many of us in our ever turbulent underground scene and anyone who knows him or even thinks they know him enough to have any opinion of him has to both know and believe that he will forever be a huge part of the Vegas Underground.
I literally feel bad for anyone reading this that didn’t ever get a chance to go to an EPYK event because you missed out on a great experience. An experience that he would put all of what he loved at the time into each and every event… he loved a lot different things at different times and somehow got a lot of those things to work together that most people could never imagine, let alone imagine working together and for that he’s always had my respect and over all the years more of my love than I ever told him. I do believe he knows because it’s not always what you say but it is always what you do that’ll show people how you feel about them. We both may have done more for the other than we wanted to at the beginning of our relationship in the moments either of us had a request of the other for whatever reason but those were always mutually appreciated and over the years grew into a friendship… one that will be missed.
