Meet Andrew Sandoval, one of our many Grin Events Greeters

Andrew lives in Buffalo, New York with his wife and newborn baby boy. He moved from Los Angeles where he began working for Grin Events two years ago. The job started as a way to make extra money for the holidays but turned into so much more. The team at Grin Events became more friends than coworkers, making each event more memorable than the last. Truly a great place to work.

Meet Cait Leow, one of our many Grin Events Greeters
Cait joins our team from the great state of Ohio. Cait graduated from Ohio State in 2012 with a degree in Theater and moved to Los Angeles where she worked as a singer-songwriter and an actor. You may have caught her Amazon commercial a few years ago. Since COVID shut down the city, Cait moved back to Ohio and will be graduating with a Masters in Education in June of 2022. She loves being a part of the Grin Events team and bragging about her super cool virtual game show job. Cait is always ready to sing a few bars to entertain during the show, you just have to ask! Maybe she'll even bust out the ukulele.

Meet Philip Victor Ongert, our Grin Events Emcee.

Philip is our Presenter-Emcee-Host...beyond just a voice, he is an Entertainer. Philip is a trained Corporate Presenter, Nickelodeon Host, Improv Instructor & Performer, Padres Emcee, National Line Dance Instructor, Semi-Pro Athlete, Team Building Lead Facilitator, Theme Park Performer, Youth Director, Festival Host...and more. Philip loves getting people engaged, connecting in the moment, and creating memorable experiences for everyone involved.

It has become more common for teams to be spread out over different states or even countries, some work remote 100% of the time never meeting or seeing other team members in person. Remote work and virtual meetings, even post pandemic virtual events have proven they are here to stay.

Meet Allie Dudash, Grin Events Operations Manager

Allie started with Grin Events in 2020 and has had sore cheeks from laughing while running the Virtual Game Shows ever since. Allie is the Operational Manager and one of the Game Show Directors for Grin Events and has enjoyed operating these events when she initially saw what an hour of fun can really do for a team. Born and raised in Ohio, Allie has her B.S. in Kinesiology & Health and M.A. in Biology, and has spent the last few years in San Diego building a career in team building events and in the health and wellness industry. When she isn’t operating corporate events, she can be found teaching yoga, hiking, or reading on the beach.

Meet John Grindle, Chief Purveyor of Fun at Grin Events.
From a young age, John loved playing games with his family and friends. Over time, he learned the best part about playing games is the people involved. After decades working many different jobs using his computer science degree from UCLA, he finally followed his passion and launched Grin Events (previously called Game Night San Diego) in 2014 to focus on his strengths and help people connect in fun and meaningful ways. He believes that the need for Team Connecting is more important now than ever!
