Hey all! It’s been a while. Hoping to get back to making music once I get equipment again. Mine was stolen - so need to buy once I can.

Had a great time performing at Acquolina on Sunday. Here is my set - lots of fun songs in here. Hi! It’s been awhile. I’ve been “tinkerbelling” sets as my husband would say. This one is probably my favorite yet. Inspired by the Facebook group recommends. I’ve been waiting for this milestone. Just over 1,000 listens! Thanks to my biggest supporters. Appreciate your love of me and sharing similar tastes in music. Isn't it a great feeling when you make progress; figure out how to make things better? I've had some extra time on my hands with getting laid off - and I've been investing A LOT of time into my music and figuring out how to mix better. This mix is an evolution of previous mixes as I figured out some technical ways to mix songs smoother and less abrupt. More progress to be made and more mixes and even a livestream are in the works.

This mix has some of my all time faves - and starts with the song "Ariel" by Spencer Brown and ALPHA 9 - as a nod to my mermaid essence. It also has "Insomnia" by Faithless which was one of the first EDM songs I fell hard in love with, and continue to have as a top 5 favorite song ever. I managed to mix in Steely Dan and Steppenwolf as well, inspired by listening to all kinds of music on our epic RV road trip. I feel like I am on a magic carpet ride right now - inspired, regenerated and loved. This mix reflects that energy and so much more. Sending love and light to all.

Hot off the early morning decks. I had the most magical weekend in Mount Shasta celebrating with so much female energy. I was charged up and couldn't sleep because I was so in the flow last night.

My friends call me their mermaid and my DJ name has part of LORelei in it (StaayLOR) as a nod to their designation. Lots of songs about the sea, blue and just plain fun in this mix... Enjoy!

When I moved to San Francisco, I honestly didn't realize the richness and depth of the house/electronic music scene. Although I've been a follower of this juicy rump-shaking music since the late 90's, I fell completely head over heels in love with this soul shaking genre of music through the rich connections and light-filled energy it's bought into my life. As I write this, I am celebrating (with happy tears streaming down my face) the countless people the shared loved of music has brought into my life and the connections made, whether brief and intense, or multiple life-long friendships.

The artists that come/came (sad) through this area and Burning Man are of an epic breed of talent. One of the first DJ's I heard about when I moved here is this guy - Jesse Houk - The Scumfrog. If he was in town/at Burning Man - it was an ALL OUT night/morning. I've enjoyed so many of his sets - but this one. This one.

Second unforgettable set from Burning Man as I'm missing and reminiscing on past years. Last year was the first year I caught Tycho's sunrise set on the Dusty Rhino. In the dark, with my tribe on our bikes, we set out to find the location of the performance. Pedaling and keeping our eyes open - we finally saw the flames of the Dusty Rhino in the distance. It was a beautiful sunrise with some of my favorite people at my side. To make it even more special, Christian promised he would catch up with us and find us (in a sea of thousands of people). Really really really missing Burning Man this year. Last year just before Burning Man, while watching Leyl Master Black and Simon Doty Everdene Rooftop - I decided I wanted to learn how to DJ. All with the goal of playing 2020 Burning Man. Well, I have another year to practice! In celebration of the amazing music at Burning Man - I’m going to share some of my favorite sets. This week, I’m also putting a mix together of some the songs I’ve heard on the playa that will always stay with me.

My first and one of my all time favorites - Fleetmac Wood. Seriously amazing artists and performers. Have seen them live in SF (Gold Dust party) and a handful of times at sunrise at Burning Man.
