Wedding rings are a worldwide sign of love, but does it really necessary to follow the tradition? Here are some thoughts and ideas to share with you💡

🌱What is your Love Language?

When you have been with your partner for a long time, repeated unmet expectations can create tension, as everyone has different needs. Sometimes when personal expectations aren't met, partners may become closed off from one another, and find it difficult to express those needs⚡

When we understand each other's love language, we can get to the root cause of miscommunication more easily. "The Five Love Languages," by Gary Chapman, explains them as:

✦ Words of Affirmation - words of encouragement, expressed appreciation and actively listening
✦ Physical Touch - use of body language and physical actions and touch to show love
✦ Receiving Gifts - thoughtful gifts and enthusiastic receiving of gifts (material or otherwise), remembering special occasions.
✦ Quality Time - uninterrupted and focused attention, special moments together with less distractions
✦ Acts of Service - wanting to help and lightening the load, sharing tasks

✏️ Pronouns and the importance of communicating respectfully

When clients choose a vendor to work with, there are a lot of options weighed to determine who is the best fit. A business can make sense logistically, but still miss the mark interpersonally, especially when mistaking pronouns.

Consider including a fill-in-the-blank line for pronouns on your intake forms, and offer your pronouns during introductions to encourage clients to share their own.

A vendor who shares the clients’ vision, aligns with their timing, fits within their budget, and especially communicates respectfully can make all difference👍

💛Sunshine Wedding in Paradise 💛

Suppose you guys are an adventurous couple who wants a wedding outside of the norm. In that case, a destination wedding may be perfect for you.

Mal & Brooke’s wedding was held at a beachfront luxury villa in Conchas Chinas, the premier resort area of Puerto Vallarta. The cozy yellow and warm neutrals were perfect for the rustic Spanish-style estate surrounded by the lavish greenery and gentle blue bay.

The favors and the table numbers were locally sourced, and they were the right amount of Mexican touch added to the table setting.

I couldn’t be happier with how the design came out. This could not be done without my partner, Luciana, who visited all vendors to source rentals, and decorations 🥰
