✨Taking care of our mental wellbeing should always be a top priority, regardless of what industry you're in.

✨Events and hospitality has extra special needs, with event planners consistently polled as one of the top 5 most stressful jobs, in addition to always having to be "on" with a smile on your face no matter what.

✨Thank you to & for highlighting this need and creating a platform to share, reduce stigma, and develop options on how to improve and take care of ourselves in demanding jobs and personal lives.

From a group chat I'm in with other travel agents, someone sent this disheartening message to us this morning.

No one should be denied their rights and freedoms regardless of gender or any other type of orientation!
Besides the fact that DEIA is important from an obvious humanitarian standpoint, it helps from an economic standpoint too.
Preventing people from working and travelling is NOT the way to make this country or any business great.

Myself and fellow travel agents let this person know that we stand behind them and they have our full support to continue fighting for their rights and what they want to do in life.

Tuesday January 21st 2025 may have marked the day of our new rebrand launch and website, and it started a new era here in the United States that has left many in some distressing uncertain times.

OmniEra was born in 2002 by a couple of artistic misfits. Our group consisted of renegade dancers, visual artists that pushed boundaries, and musicians emerging from the underground electronic music scene. Many of us were baby ravers in the late 1990s San Francisco Bay Area. Inclusivity, diversity, acceptance, support, and a safe place to be yourself went without question. After all, the mantra had always been "Peace, Love, Unity & Respect".

A little over a decade later most of our events turned corporate, but here we are now, still with the same soul.

No matter who walks into our events, we always want them to feel safe, comfortable, and seen.
Wellness is our top priority, and that includes mental wellness too.

No matter who you are, where you came from, what language you speak, what gender or orientation you identify with, what your religion is, or what color you dye your hair - all are welcome.

Some say to keep politics out of business. We don't think it's radical to be nice and treat others with respect.
We are mindful and intentional with our design and planning process.
We care about each person that enters into their hotel room, walks into their conference session, steps on their plane, and goes out to dinner with a colleague.

We are here to support, no matter your background.
Plan with Peace, Lead with Love, Understand to Unify, and Reflect Respect.

Together we can create beautiful moments of light that's needed to move through any dark.

We look forward to working with you in 2025.

Hugh was more than our past ILEANCC President, more than the founder of the Groman Group conglomerate, more than the charismatic outgoing personality on KTVU...

I didn't think this needed to be said, but promoters shouldn't put artist on their event marketing materials without actually booking them.

And then get mad when they find out and offer to charge their going rate.
Extra shadiness. 👎
