🎃 A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Halloween Spooktacular event this past weekend! It was an incredible day, filled with joy, laughter, and a true sense of community. 🧡

We loved seeing all the families and kids come together to celebrate, and we’re so grateful for the support shown by each and every one of you.

Are you passionate about child-led learning, nature-based education, and fostering creativity in young minds? The Indie Sol, a thriving homeschool enrichment program, is looking for a dedicated and inspired Forest School Teacher to join our team!

About Us:

At The Indie Sol, we believe in empowering children through exploration, curiosity, and hands-on learning. Our forest school is a dynamic, outdoor learning environment where students engage with nature while developing social, emotional, and cognitive skills. We focus on child-led experiences that promote critical thinking, collaboration, and self-confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate outdoor, child-led learning experiences in a forest school setting.
Support the holistic development of students, nurturing their connection to nature and each other.

Collaborate with fellow educators to create engaging lessons inspired by student interests.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children during outdoor activities.

Qualifications:

Experience working in education or nature-based programs (forest school or outdoor education experience preferred, but not required)

Passion for child-led, nature-based learning.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both children and parents.

Ability to work flexibly in an outdoor setting and adapt to changing weather conditions.

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Background check clearance required.

🕸️ Spooky Sunday is back and better than ever!

🐴 We’re so excited to announce the return of the PETTING ZOO and we will be hosting PONY Encounters this year!!!

🐷 Kids will love feeding piglets, and hanging out with sheep, chickens, and even tortoises! 🐓🐢

🪄 PLUS, we’re adding even more fun with a magical and interactive magic show, followed by balloon art and face painting! 🎨✨
