Starting July 1, 2024, purchases of a motor vehicle by a Veteran having a 100% total service-connected disability (includes TDIU) are exempt from the Motor Vehicle Sales Tax. Automobile dealers should have a new drop-down selection in their processing system for 100% disabled Veterans that will exclude fees. Documentation proof required for exemption.

Jacob Skarloken of Merrifield, MN caught and released this incredible fish last week. Unfortunately, the fish couldn’t be recognized as a state record since photos of the measurements and release weren't taken. Regardless, an incredible memory was made! 👏

Last, but not least, these youth campers deserve a shout out of their own! These girls asked if they could help us at K-3 camp, and wow!! Did they ever surprise us! These girls ran after balls, tossed balls, and we even saw quite a few of them helping their younger teammates with encouraging words! This is leadership at its finest, we are so proud of you!!

COMMUNITY SERVICE OFFICER - PART-TIME

The City of Lamberton is hiring a part-time seasonal Community Service Officer (CSO). This is a non-sworn entry level responsible position in the Police Department which performs duties involving contact with the general public both by phone and in person. Position is under the direct supervision of the Police Chief. Duties and responsibilities will include responding to ordinance complaints, educating residents about ordinances, gathering information, preparing police related reports, analyzing and investigating situations. "Hey there, I'm Kelly, and dance has been my passion since I could walk. Growing up in the lively suburbs of the Twin Cities, the studio became my second home from the age of 2. I've studied a variety of styles, including tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, and lyrical.

I'm currently living in Lamberton with my husband and three wonderful kids. When I'm not busy teaching or directing the business, you can find me exploring new places, soaking in different cultures, and finding inspiration everywhere I go.

Beyond the dance floor, I'm all about soaking in the rhythm of music, diving into captivating books, and cherishing moments with my loved ones. With boundless energy and a deep love for the art of movement, I'm thrilled to be a part of this community, sharing my passion and spreading joy wherever I go."
