🇺🇸 In Memory of September 11, 2001
24 years ago today, the world changed forever.

On September 11, 2001, 19 terrorists from the extremist group al-Qaeda hijacked four commercial airplanes in a series of coordinated su***de attacks against the United States.

✈️ 8:46 AM – American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center.

✈️ 9:03 AM – United Airlines Flight 175 crashed into the South Tower.

🕯️ Both towers collapsed within two hours.

✈️ 9:37 AM – American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon.

✈️ 10:03 AM – United Airlines Flight 93 crashed in a Pennsylvania field after brave passengers fought back.

Their target was likely the U.S. Capitol or the White House, but thanks to the courage of those on board, it was never reached.

🔥 The Human Toll:
🕊️ 2,977 innocent lives lost, including:

👨‍💼 2,731 people at the World Trade Center

🚒 343 firefighters

👮 60 police officers

🩺 8 paramedics

🛫 246 passengers and crew aboard the four flights

🛡️ 125 military and civilian personnel at the Pentagon
