This is what a caterer sees when your budget is $2000 for 150ppl. This is why it can't be done, this is why its unrealistic when you request seafood, steak, salmon, or any other high end food items. This does not include sides, preparation, taxes, travel, cocktail hr, utensils, supplies, servers etc

$2000 for 150ppl= $13.33pp

Steak(ribeye)=$15lb
Steak(filet mignon)=$20lb

provided each person eats 8oz of steak, you need 75lbs worth of steak

$15×75=$1125
$20×75=$1500

Salmon=$10.25lb

provided each person eats 8oz of salmon, you need 75lbs worth of salmon

$10.25×75=768.75

Totals= $1893.75(ribeye/salmon)
$2268.75(filet/salmon)

2000-1893.75= $106.25 remaining(won't cover anything else, maybe dinner rolls and tea/lemonade)

2000-2268.75= -268.75 (already overbudget and can't include anything else)

No!! We are not raising our prices just because it's a " Wedding ", we raise our prices because the economy is changing, food/supplies are more expensive, we also get paid for our time and expertise, not for just what you ordered. Mass production cost more than just an individual order/item.

Giving back to my community by feeding the homeless is a periodic endeavor that fills my heart with joy, as I prepare and distribute sack lunches today. It's uplifting to make a difference in the lives of others and I'm committed to helping in any way I can. We welcome food donations and volunteers, and soon we'll be expanding our outreach to include toiletries for men, women, and children.

I am consistently frustrated when clients reach out to us, inquire about our services, and ask us to prepare quotes and contracts, only to disappear without a word. This behavior is not only infuriating but also disrespectful. We urge you to respond, even if it's just to request more time or indicate that our services are outside your budget or want to know if there is room for negotiations. Please be aware that we begin planning and allocating resources as soon as we receive your inquiry, which may involve creating customized contracts and quotes, including itemized cost analyses. Given that each client's needs are distinct, we tailor our contracts and quotes accordingly. This is why most deposits are non-refundable, as we invest significant time and effort into preparing personalized proposals.
