My heart is deeply saddened by the passing of a true Legend & Hall of Famer Afa Anoa'i " The Wild Samoan". I grew up watching him since the early 80's. I have nothing but the utmost respect for the Legacy he has created. I didn't know Afa personally but in 1998/1999 while producing a television program I was invited in to WXW in Connecticut where I was introduced to Pops. He was a tough cookie but allowed me to interview him & his daughter. Afa was a true inspiration for me wanting to wrestle then become a promoter. Thank you for inspiring others like myself to respect this business. Thank you for the memories your Legacy will live on forever in our hearts!!! Sending Prayers to his family, friends, students & fans.
