“Spread a Little Sunshine”

Hello Fellow Islanders! I think we all know someone who could use a little ray of light these days. I am currently taking orders for a limited series of “Sunshine in a Jar” bouquets. All proceeds from these brilliant bouquets will be donated to those in the local service industry who are currently without employment due to the recent hurricanes.

To order, please text me directly at 407-802-6837 by Sunday, October 20. I will be designing and delivering (on island) on Tuesday, October 22. Each bouquet is $25 (all proceeds donated).

It has been a taxing week for sure and I have been feeling blah…

Earlier today, I was trying to salvage some dahlia tubers from the garden and honestly just feeling sorry for myself. As I looked down into the ruined soil, I saw the tiny end of a tuber sticking out, and there was a message written on it, “Joy”. Before planting, the tubers had been labeled with the name of the dahlia type. This one word message reminded me that no matter what our external circumstances are, we can choose to have joy.
I hope this encourages you the way encouraged me.

Hello! Welcome to Florabel 🌸, a boutique flower farmette and design studio. I am Melissa Lehman, a full time resident of Sanibel Island and the owner of Florabel 🌸. I specialize in growing seasonal flowers and florals and designing arrangements for a variety of special occasions. Florabel 🌸 is unique in that it is not a storefront, but rather a private studio where I arrange the flowers I grow (or outsource in off season) for clients and deliver them personally here on the islands.
