It's been a while since I've posted here. I figure I'll post an update since I've been MIA.
I've been busy with my recent promotion at my Mon-Fri job.
It's been chaotic since 2020 hit and working in the Healthcare industry AND the Event industry It's been tough! The two most affected industries of 2020.
I got into healthcare after working in the food service industry managing Tradeshows and Events for many years. After the economic crisis in 2008, I decided on a career move. I still kept my job but half my company was laid off!! I went to school and started taking on night shifts for a homecare agency so I could get healthcare experience. I like helping people and healthcare always interested me. I got a job finally in healthcare in 2012. I have worked my way up in the same organization since then. This past April I was promoted to my 4th position within the same organization and now over 9 years working there. I had to take time from Sweet Annie's DOC to focus on my new job and wrapping up school. Not to mention all my 2020 brides were still figuring out their dates, so I didn't want to overbook myself.
Sweet Annie's DOC was started so I could help people and execute a day of love! It employs my creative side and I've had the chance to help so many brides over the last few years.
With all that said, I am planning on booking for 2022 and 2023 brides. Bookings are limited, but I'm still here. I am still available for 2021 dates as well.
