We're currently hiring waitstaff, bartenders, and kitchen staff to assist at full-service, private events. The number of events and required staff may vary each week. Training and scheduling are conveniently handled online or via email – it's hassle-free! If you're available and dedicated, there's an opportunity for regular scheduling, or you can opt for occasional shifts for some extra income.

Graduation Fiesta: The Ultimate Celebration

After years of waiting, the long-anticipated celebration of Peter's graduation finally took place at the beautiful home of his mother, Jane. His high school graduation party, initially scheduled to be a festive affair, was unfortunately postponed due to the pandemic. Now, having achieved another significant milestone, Peter's graduation from college presented the perfect opportunity to host the celebration he deserved.

How to Make the Most of Your Heart Rocks

Pure Joy Catering, as you may know, is just off the beach in Santa Barbara. For many years I walked to work, mostly on the sand, from home to the building with my dog, it was an invigorating way to start the day that filled me with gratitude, I would pick up heart rocks and sea glass, doing my part to pick up plastic along the way too.

At first, I lined the walkway into our building with the hearts, and they stacked up. Then I decided to make a rain chain of them, and that's how it began, now, more than 1000 hearts later I have a beautiful entry wall to my shade garden.

Point Reyes Blue Cheese

I love picking up our cheese at the original Point Reyes Farmstead and seeing the classic California happy cows grazing above the beautiful Tomales Bay, about an hour above San Fransisco. It is open to the public and they do free tastings.

Our Point Reyes Blue Cheese goes into the salad with baby spinach, candies pecans, and a fresh local pixie tangerine honey vinaigrette, both recipes appear below in this blog.
