About:
The Thing is a four-piece rock band from New York City that began in high school when members Michael Carter, Jack Bradley, and Zane Acord bonded over their love for 60s rock. They later added drummer Lucas Ebeling, solidifying their lineup. Since 2022, the band has played over 200 shows, including a full North American tour with sold-out performances and appearances at major festivals. Their debut album, “Here’s the Thing,” was recorded DIY-style, followed quickly by their second album, “The Thing Is,” which emphasized a more experimental, collaborative sound. A European tour is planned for Fall 2024.

About:
Walter Mitty and His Makeshift Orchestra is a folk punk band from California led by singer / songwriter Dustin Cole Hayes. After touring the DIY circuit for many years in the 2010’s, the band went quiet for a while before reemerging as an electricoutfit called Walter Etc. Now the old moniker WMAHMO has reemerged to celebrate 10 years of its iconic album “Well Soon” with rumors of a new album completed and buried underground somewhere in the American frontier.

About:
Minneapolis songwriter Mason Jennings released a video for “Only Lovers Welcome,” a single from his new album ‘Underneath The Roses’, out now on Loosegroove Records. Inspired by the birth of his son, Western, in March 2022, Jennings found a renewed creative spark, writing 48 songs between May and November 2022, with love overcoming fear as a central theme. Stone Gossard and Regan Hagar helped him narrow the collection to 11 tracks, recorded with his Painted Shield bandmates. Known for hits like “No Ordinary Friend” and a previous album ‘Real Heart’, Jennings sees ‘Underneath The Roses’ as a journey of self-discovery, calling the songs “musical roses” that grew from life’s thorns and hardships.

About:
Artikal Sound System is a reggae band based out of South Florida. Founded by Chris Montague (guitar) and Fabian Acuña (bass) in 2012, the band honed their chops backing a series of Caribbean singers. Along the way the boys picked up the insane and absurd keys player Christopher Cope and the heavy footed drummer Adam Kampf before finally trying something a little sonically different with their neighbor, female vocalist Logan Rex. After nearly a decade of playing together the boys sound tight and powerful, creating the perfect foundation for their jazz-influenced singer to dance around on lyrically and literally. What you hear is the sound of friendship, hard work, imagination and the hope to spread their message of love and the importance of having a good time.

Ottmar Liebert, born in Cologne, Germany, is a celebrated guitarist whose journey began with early musical influences and evolved through travels in Asia and a rock stint in Boston, ultimately leading him to settle in Santa Fe, New Mexico. His openness to the region’s culture influenced his signature style, blending Spanish, Mexican, and World music elements, and producing strong, melodic flamenco-inspired sounds. In 1989, he formed his band, Luna Negra, and self-produced his breakout album *Nouveau Flamenco*, which gained global acclaim and became the best-selling instrumental acoustic guitar album. His career includes 33 albums, Grammy nominations, and record-breaking performances, including two celebrated concerts with the New Mexico Philharmonic, solidifying his place as one of the most successful instrumental artists worldwide.

Canned Heat, a blues-rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1965 by blues enthusiasts Alan Wilson and Bob Hite, gained fame for its unique take on blues music and its efforts to popularize the genre. Named after Tommy Johnson’s “Canned Heat Blues,” the band achieved international acclaim with hits like “Going Up the Country” and “On the Road Again,” which became anthems of the late 1960s. Known for electrifying live performances, they played major music festivals like Monterey and Woodstock. Over the years, Canned Heat saw numerous lineup changes, with drummer Adolfo “Fito” de la Parra remaining a key member, joined intermittently by original bassist Larry Taylor and later notable guitarists like Harvey Mandel.

Artist Bio:
Paco Versailles is a duo consisting of songwriter/producer Ryan Merchant and Vahagni A***n who is a world-class Spanish-trained flamenco guitarist and producer. Their sound is a mix of flamenco guitar rhythms with disco-leaning electronic production and captivating vocals, a style they call Dancemenco. The name ‘Paco Versailles’ was conceived while imagining a collaboration between their biggest influences, the legendary Spanish guitarist Paco De Lucia and French electronic artists Daft Punk and Air, both products of the Parisian suburb of Versailles. Paco Versailles released their 3rd studio album, Olé Maca, on September 13, 2024.
