The Chicken Madeira and rice recipe . Please think of Gary when you make it as it is his version of the recipe. It was served at over 4,000 weddings and events.

We are blessed that we were able to have finished our events before all this started.
Hope everyone is staying safe, healthy and not going too stir crazy. I know everyone is praying and thinking about the essential workers (which we should) but please include in your prayers all those in the event industry as these are usually small family owned businesses that are drastically affected by this. Please include them all... the DJ's, bakeries,linen companies, photographers, halls, caterers, dress shops, and so many more...as they still must pay for their facilities,staff if they can and inventory that is not able to be used-may this end with you able to keep your business, so you can bring back your staffs, and I hope your personal life is not affected, thanks to all we love you guys.

Today we officially said good bye to our beloved Freedom Hall & Gardens. We love you and will cherish all the memories you have brought to us. I (Sandy) will continue the FB page so PLEASE continue to post and show us how you are doing- trips-babies-moves we want to hear from you because you are part of our family. By popular demand, the next post you will see will be our Chicken Madeira and rice recipe!

As we say goodbye to our beloved Freedom Hall.
Once so full of life and now just an empty shell.
So many wonderful memories for so many people.
You will be missed by many.

We would like send a huge and heartfelt thank you to all our couples and events that we have had the pleasure of being a part of. It’s with great sadness that after 25 wonderful years we will be permanently closing our doors. We have been in this location for 40 years; 25 of them as The freedom Hall and Gardens. Where we have been a part of 3,553 beautiful events, our lease is up and they are not giving us an extension.

After deep consideration we will be retiring our business.

We wish you all the best that life has to give and will miss everyone.
