We’re delighted to be joining in on the first ever .records.ca record fair this Saturday, May 18th. In addition to the already stacked cast of vendors, the Tide Swing fam will be bringing out a few curated crates of dance et al - heads, newbies, vets, &&& of course whoever’s curious are all welcome to have a browse.
… and because we know just how hard it might be to find that unmarked maybe-it’s-ukg-maybe-it’s-downtempo-maybe-it’s-an-eagles-acid-disco-edit white label on Discogs, we’ll have a listening station set up in the booth just for you 🏄♂️
Of course, it wouldn’t be a swap without tunes playing all day - be sure to stick around as our resident closes out the party from 4-5pm.

A darker tide is coming this Memorial Day weekend.
Sunday, May 26th (don’t worry, you have Monday off!) we are pleased to be joined by none other than Bay Area legend Solar ( ) of Sunset Sound System. Those familiar with his punk leaning take on psychadelic rave can attest that he’s one of the best in the biz, and we’re honored to have him join us .
On direct support, our good friend puts his own signature psychedelic swing on the dance - a guest long overdue! Starting things off in classic Tide Swing fashion, resident and flyer design extraordinaire .recommended is back in the booth for what is sure to be a journey of a warmup.

We've got a very special treat for you this month. With a one-two punch from two of our favorites from today's west coast underground, you can rest assured this one is gonna be a cracker.
Resident will be kidnaping sir of Synergy (Seattle) on his bike/camp/climbing road trip up to the Emerald City before bringing him back down for a weekend in sunny SC. Those who've been around a while will remember Collins as oneof the original founders of Tide Swing, and we're stoked to have him back. Since the move back to his Washington stomping grounds, this digger/selector/party starter has been on a roll, making appearances as far as Sunday Sessions Miami. 🏖️
Sharing the booth with Justin, we have none other long time Tide Swing supporter .musik of SF's . An absolute weapon in the booth, this renaissance man of the rave knows how to work a dancefloor like no one else we know.
Starting things off, resident Rik will warm things up before handing over the booth over to .recommended for a special b-day set.
90s deep cuts, cutting edge rollers, punchy sound, and a crispy glass of the finest selections from cellars - we're in for a gas.

Remember back in January when the city got worried about how lit our party at Apero would be and made us cancel 2 days before the event?
The park party was a nice respite, but the real kicker was having to postpone our date with SF underground veteran
Well, it’s time to run it back.
Shaped by the thriving west coast post rave dance music scene of the late 90s, Jimmy has seen sounds, clubs, record stores, and trends come and go. Fortunately for us, those with real passion for the underground never lose it - and this guy is no exception.
From his early years throwing parties in Santa Cruz venues including The Blue Lagoon, The Catalyst, and Margaritaville, to his current residency with weekly Sunday institution , Jimmy looks to have no plans of letting off the gas.
It’s with great pleasure we invite the OG (and one of the sweetest dudes you’ll ever meet) to our little west side wine bar.

💥The Tides of summer are upon us, and Swing we must. 🫧
After a little venue hiccup back in January, we're running this one back with Bay Area house veteran Jimmy B aka . From throwing his formative underground parties in Santa Cruz, playing with SF’s Green Gorilla Crew and Sunset Sound System, to his current residency with weekly Sunday night WERD, it’s pretty obvious this dude knows good records. We’ve been talking for quite a while about getting him back down to SC, so don’t miss this one!
On direct support for Mr. B Nice, Apero regular and one of our closest friends Laith ( )makes his Tide Swing debut. We've had the pleasure of hearing his digs at many a living room afters since meeting, and we couldn't be more stoked to have him in the booth with us. Be sure to give his fur baby Harvey some butt scratches as daddy tears it up.
Par for the course, residents Dr. Recommended & Rik Vinegar will get things moving in the earlier hours before they spending the rest of the night front and center on the floor.

Almost Friday…
and what a roster we’ve got for ya this time.
make their US debut as Michael Walsh of and Caltrop aka Christoph Caominh join forces for an extended b2b. These guys started collaborating on music remotely during the pandemic and have since put out a whopping 7(!!!) EPs spanning everything from sunny mid-tempo house to ripping acid electro. Both seasoned DJs in their own right, rest assured we’ll be treated to nothing but the realest dancefloor burners (and prob lotsa unreleased Lunar Tropics).
On direct support, Apero loc .aiff gives us a taste of her recent digs following a euro tour including a set at UK dance music institution .
Last but not least, bike guy will be kickstarting the dance in standard Tide Swing fashion.

With @loaf_bkr ‘s projections and that top notch warm up set from @_wyllie_ , it was hard to believe we were still even on this planet, let alone lil old Santa Cruz.
