Happy Birthday Isaiah!

On Saturday, we'll be celebrating and honoring my late friend Isaiah. I first met him and his family at , where they became staples of the old Geek Trivia Night. Isaiah made some lasting friendships at those nights, and we're gonna try to bring back that vibe for his birthday.

So if you were a Geek Trivia Night person, or a Comics FTW person, or even if you were none of those things but you're a chill person that loves geeky stuff, I invite you to come join us Saturday night. There will be a slight reunion vibe, but for me personally, one of the best things about GTN was how easy it was to meet new people and make new friends, like Isaiah.

We'll be at the Cultural Center, with doors opening at 6pm and trivia starting at 7pm.

Every Thursday night is Trivia Night at .epicenter ! With the NFL season beginning, we may be bouncing between and Chuck's (by the bowling area). But you can order food and drinks in either space, and Chuck's even has its own separate bar. Both spaces also have tons of TV screens, in case you didn't want to miss Thursday Night Football. Thursdays have been a really fun crowd, and I hope you come join us.

Any Survivor fans? I'm a huge fan, and with the new season coming up, I've been thinking about hosting a Survivor Fantasy League. Also thinking about a possible Survivor Trivia Night, and other Survivor-related game nights. Would any of y'all be interested in participating in any or all of that?

LAST CALL! Summer Quail Cup is this Friday, and team registrations close this Thursday evening. Entry fee is $15 per player, which can be paid at the event. If you'd like to register your team, you can do so in-person at your usual QE trivia night this week, or send a DM directly to this account.

The Quail Cup is our most competitive night, with top teams representing the best of the best from each of our venues. More questions, higher difficulty, multimedia rounds, and other surprises. Cash prizes for the top placers, and a Quail Cup trophy for the winning team!

Finally.. trivia has come BACK to FRIDAY NIGHT!

Y'know, the Quail says it's been far too long since we've had a general trivia night on Friday. We've heard the millions (and millions) chanting for it, so on August 2nd we'll be at the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center at 6pm! We'll have audio and video questions, some new game-themed rounds we've been developing, and prizes for the top teams. We'll even have extra mini challenges for individual winners!

Entry is $5 per player. Teams can have up to 8 players (with a penalty for teams with more than 6). DM if you want to preregister for a table ahead of time.

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for sale, so no outside drinks. Outside food is welcome.

The next themed trivia night collaboration with is here. Eleven movies. Hundreds of cars. One family.

The Fast and the Furious Trivia Night is finally coming! On Friday July 19th, I'll be at the SCCC with six rounds of questions that are better than the tuna at Toretto's, and I like the tuna there!

Teams of up to 6 players, with an entry fee of $5 per player. SCCC will also have snacks, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages for sale. ALL ticket and refreshment sales 100% go towards supporting SCCC events and programming.

Lately, we've been developing some new game events (some trivia-based), and we're looking for some teams interested in helping us playtest. Participating teams get to enjoy a fun night of games and get an early look at our new events, while helping us out with feedback. Our first one was very popular, and we're doing it again, but with a new start time. On Sunday June 9th, trivia will be starting at 1pm! You can grab a late lunch during trivia, or an after lunch treat, while hosts another challenging set of culinary quizardry.

On This Day, May 27th 2018

Geek Trivia Night went from an event I did exclusively at my shop (RIP) to the start of my trivia nights at bars and restaurants. .epicenter heard about what was going on at FTW and asked me to bring me something similar to their space. I hosted that first one six years ago today.

I have a special appreciation for the OG FTW folks, and I feel really fortunate it's led to me connecting with so many new trivia night folks these days.

This Sunday afternoon, I'll be hosting Disney Trivia at the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center! I'll have questions on Disney movies, theme parks, shows, music, history, and everything else in between.

Entry is $5 per person, with 100% of that fee going towards supporting the Center. I'm very hyped for this new partnership, and can't wait to share some fun events also coming in the future.
