We are overwhelmed with the show of love and support for Keith. Our hearts are filled with gratitude just at the thought of today. Thank you for all of the comments, videos, and most of all the support and effort everyone has put in to make today the best it could be. We miss you Keith, more than you can imagine. But in true smiley fashion, we know that “it’ll all work out”.

Good evening Smile's Dream family. the address to fox field is roughly 1050N freedom Blvd Provo UT 84604 or on the East side of Provo hospital. I've included a picture for reference on where you can park and where the balloon. will be located on the field we look forward to seeing you tomorrow. If you can not make it out in the morning, we will miss you but we will be on Facebook live. Thank you all for your love and support as we remember our beloved father, grandpa, friend, and pilot.

Good evening Smile's Dream family. this is not Marianne, it's Michael her oldest son. Next Saturday July 6 at the Provo freedom festival balloons there will be a memorial flight for Keith Evans. We hope anyone that can make it please come and enjoy Smileys Dream again for possible the last time. Greg Lindsey will be piloting Smile's Dream for us on that day please come out and share this moment with us and all of the people Keith had the opportunity to touch with his passion. please remember the best way to honer his legacy is to "Get your SMILE on" thank you for all your support. Balloon launch is scheduled for 6am depending on weather/heat

I don’t know how to even start this post. I am numb and I hope it all makes sense even though it doesn’t in my mind. It is with immense sadness and the heaviest of heart to say that my dear dad, Keith Evans, passed away today from a tragic accident. He was doing what he did best, helping a friend. He is sorely missed already. Although we are sad beyond words, we know that he and mom are having a joyful, loving reunion just short of a year since her passing last January. We wish we could have had more time, but my dad’s light and love will live in our hearts and memories always. Funeral arrangements are to come, we will post with more details.

There are times in a Dad‘s life when you are blown away by your children,
Today at the Provo Freedom Festival Balloon event
My son Michael did that!
What an amazing thing.
I couldn’t be any prouder of him for what he did with a young man that is blind.
I’m gonna post his Instagram post and then photo and a video.
It makes me so proud as a father.
I know his mother is smiling ear to ear form heaven.

Here in his words:

******** PLEASE READ ********. I wanted to share an experience my family was able to have today on the 4th of July this is Denny daughters he and his family were standing on the field this morning enjoying the ballon festival in Provo Utah I notice he was blind trying to enjoy a family experience that most of us take for granted I watch them for a min and realized his wife was explaining the surroundings to him so I looked at my sister and said let’s let him feel the balloon and that led to me taking him around as we set up the balloon and trying to explain what he was feeling not being able to see what a humbling experience for me and my family as we were able to experience the ballon unlike any other time in the last 26 years thank you Denny for giving me the experience and thank you to my dad for showing me every time you set that balloon up that is only worth is if you help someone else get there “smile on“ before we take it down I would like to encourage everyone to reach out and live through someone else eye’s just for a few moments or in my case there other senses happy 4th of July

 Provo freedom festival, 2023
 what an exhausting emotional best best five days I could’ve asked for. I have so many people to thank
First of all my family all my children you did an amazing job with SmileysDream without your mother.
 Second: I need to think my amazing crew.
You all did an amazing job standing up SmileysDream, hot air, balloon, all four days of the event, and the candlestick for the glow.
Third: I need to think the freedom Festival committee for giving our family the opportunity to have our mother and late Crew Chief honored with a Memorial flight. What a touching tribute you did for Marianne J Evans.
Here are a few pictures from the weekend of all four days.

This will happen Saturday, July 1st at 6:00 AM at Fox Filed.

What a spectacular day flying in the Eyes to the Sky Balloon Festival DAY 1 Our passengers today was Miss Sevier County. Sadie Yardley and Cora Hame her assistant.
As always this operations dose not get off the ground without great crew. Thank Michael Evans and Adam McMurry families.
I cannot wait until tomorrow morning so we can do it all again.

Art city days balloon festival 2023 Day 2
What a wonderful day with family and friends at the Springville balloon Festival.
Marianne would’ve been smiling ear to ear. Every one of her children and most of her grandchildren helped with a balloon today. I think Smiley ‘s dream has the best crew out there. You know I can’t do it without you.
I can’t say how much I appreciate all of your love and support that makes this all happen. You all know who are!!!!
Being a Balloon Pilot all you want is your children to follow in your footsteps. I had the great opportunity to have Cooper Johnson help me stand up SmileysDream today that was one of my favorites times of this weekend. Here are some pictures of our flight with our great crew and passengers can’t wait till Salina, next weekend the balloon is always so much fun with family friends and passengers.

What a beautiful day we had an a awesome long flight 2 1/2 hours. Here are just a couple of pictures just sent over to me. I want to thank all of our crew, and the people that came out. Without you this balloon would not make it off the ground.
