I was asked to create a leather cover for a fencing mask, incorporating the scale design I do. This could be used for certain SCA Light events.

Cover and scales are 8oz leather, attached to a fencing mask with Chicago Screws. The front bid is removable, held in place with leather ties. Under the water formed scales the chrome tan has various vent holes to help manage heat.

I believe the added bid over a 350 N neck guard meets the 550N requirements, but that is up to each judge.
