We are elder millennials event planners- of course we love period dramas from the 90's.

This was one for the books! Congrats to the beautiful couple🖤

Using the couple’s first date as inspiration, PTC designed the event as a nod to the super nostalgic period dramas of the 1990’s. Howard’s End, Remains of the day, Age of Innocence, and Out of Africa among their favorites. Authenticity was a big thought across the scope as well. Authenticity for the period in which the venue was built. Authenticity for native flora of our area and an authentic great time were also extremely important to all parties.

"One theory behind the tradition of oranges being associated with Christmas stems from the generosity of Saint Nicholas (also known as Santa Claus, Father Christmas, Kris Kringle and Old Saint Nick), who was the son of a wealthy merchant and later in life a bishop. It's said that he lived near a father and his three daughters who had fallen on hard times, so Nicholas secretively threw three bags of gold through their window, which were rumored to have landed in each of the girl's stockings that were hanging on the mantelpiece to dry. The father eventually found out who the gift giver was and was so moved he told everyone in town about Nicholas.

From July to December, our team sliced, dried and preserved over 300 oranges, grapefruits and lemons. Was immensely more time consuming than we expected! But the final looks were sooo good🍊🎄🍋

What a Christmas to remember!

If ever you have wondered how many ornaments can fit on one tree... the answer is MORE!

This tree was a hybrid concept of the clients existing red and cranberry decorations with PTC reimagining them and providing a few more🤣

We took inspiration from the joy that the client brought our small business in requesting our support and the joy that she brings to our community🖤 We also listened to the Kenny and Dolly Christmas album while we worked so theres a little Dolly energy in there too🎅🏼💃🏼

At over 400 ornaments, 300 yards of ribbon, 20 amaryllis, and 1 custom tree topper, this is one of our favorite trees of the season!

No one can say that PTC is normal! Not how big we dream for our clients anyway. We've said it before, but so much of our inspiration comes from classic films. This is a perfect example! From the 1998 made for TV movie, starring Debbie Renoylds, this behemoth stands 10 feet tall and is 30 feet around at its widest point. This recreation of the jack-o'-lantern monument from their town square is a beast👹We had the best time creating this halloween styling for our sweet client out on the bluff.

"I cannot say enough good things about Josh and PTC! I recently moved and was looking for a way to have my house look more put together in time for our wedding. Josh answered my request for information IMMEDIATELY! No joke, I have never received a more prompt follow up. We scheduled a time for him to come look at the house and to get some ideas and knew right away that he would be a pleasure to work with. He squeezed us in on short notice and did exactly what he promised to do. The front of our house looks amazing. Our wedding guests were all commenting on how impressive it was and we’ve even had some of our new neighbors compliment it. We will be looking for more opportunities to work with Josh and are so grateful to have found someone so professional and good at what they do!"

The devil is in the details👹

About Last weekend- we had the most fun putting together this birthday party for a super sweet new client. Its not every day that guests proclaim that "this was the best party since they've lived in Savannah!"

The client requested a clue themed murder mystery dinner complete with styled entrance photo opp, custom designed menu with private chef & full service, styled table for 20, a signature poison apple cocktail served in potion bottles on silver trays☠️and the funniest improv experience EVER with Front Porch Improv!

The table was planned to look like an 80's movie feast had already taken place, with melted drippy candles, faded florals and spider webs. Notice the murder weapons from the film in the tablescape🔫🕯️🪢🔪🔧

Events like this is what we love doing. Southern decadence comes naturally for us🖤

What a great time we had putting together L's 35th birthday!!! Nine bedrooms suites, a bowling alley, racquetball and basketball courts, Turkish bath, a full gym with spa, and huge pool! In this scenario PTC thoughtfully curated a beautiful day filled with bespoke concepts and services. Included in the plan were L's favorite people, fabulous food, festive libations and a few thrills along the way! All three meals, and daytime and late night snacks were prepared by private chef. Every one of the group’s needs was seen to by private staff. Festive libations of designer tequilas, hand crafted bloody marys, hand stuffed blue cheese & a Portuguese olive oil dirty martinis were served with dinner. For lunch, PTC styled an aesthetic floating lunch with Tex-Mex menu items served on floating trays and coordinating floats and towels. Poolside games were provided. The theater had 2000’s rom coms playing in a loop all day and candy and warm parmesan popcorn was at the ready! The most fun part was the video confessional "room” we designed in the “Real World” style with a 1990’s slant. As an extra kicker, we made sure that the day's content was edited into a video to show as part of our after dinner entertainment. The group moved in the evening to a formal 5 course seated dinner. During the dessert course the group was treated a grown up's magic show. It did not disappoint! PTC spoiled both client and guest alike! What are your birthday plans?😜😎🖤
