Registration is now open for Coastal Heritage Society's annual Savannah Santa Train event from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, December 7 at Georgia State Railroad Museum and Savannah Children's Museum, located at 655 Louisville Road in Savannah.

Savannah Santa Train is Savannah’s favorite family holiday event with festive activities and entertainment, including a holiday-themed train ride experience, Tin Soldier Training, model trains with Coastal Rail Buffs, holiday crafts, and more.

Admission for this event is $18 for CHS members and $20 for nonmembers.

Festive activities and entertainment include live demonstrations by Lowcountry Turners artfully hand-crafting spinning tops available for purchase, Christmas tree activities with Savannah Tree Foundation, Tin Soldier Training, and decorate a holiday card to send to families at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Lowcountry. Santa Claus will visit with all the children and hear their Christmas wishes.

Several food vendors will be available during the event including BowTie Barbecue: Top Dog; Popcorn Geeks; Leopold’s Ice Cream.

Callan’s Classics was named after Sherri’s father, who painstakingly restored and owned over 70 classic cars. Callan passed away in 2013 leaving over 59 classic cars for his family to sell. Sherri and Bill purchased three of these beautiful vintage cars from his estate and are committed to carry on Callan’s legacy of his love and desire to share the experience of riding in one of these amazing automobiles.
