My Story

Welcome to Fabulouz Sweetz! Or FabSweetz for short. My name is Rolanda Smith and I am the owner of FabSweetz. I was born and raised right here in beautiful Savannah Georgia. I offer a wide variety of treats, but my specialty is Candy Apples. A lot of people ask me how I got started and I want to share my story with you. It all started on Halloween in 2016. My sister didn’t want to go out trick or treating with the kids that year, so instead she suggested we get together and throw our kids a Halloween party! The kids asked for homemade Candy Apples and I answered their call. I posted a few pictures on Facebook and before I knew it, I had a request to make Candy Apples for a baby shower with a Mickey Mouse theme. Before I knew it, I had orders coming in left and right for my Candy Apples! It wasn’t long until other sweet treatz were requested, so I made it my mission to be able to provide as many as possible. I rarely use molds, although some items require them, so the majority of my work is done by hand with the assistance of an edible printer.

Both my sister, Akenya and my husband, Eric offer me a hand in special deliveries. My husband and I have been married for 16 years and we have raised amazing children that always keep me on my toes. I take pride and value in teaching them how to be creative, so they often assist me in my set ups at events and they do it with a great deal of pride as well.
