Little did I imagine that creating the name Lifetime Events by Jacqueline for my event planning firm would be opening the doors to one of the most amazing journeys of my life.

Slow and steady but consistent. Consistency has been the key to my company's success. I have "rebranded" several times, but this has been by far the most intentional rebrand for Lifetime Events by Jacqueline.

In the coming days, I will share more about our core values and what has kept the success of the business moving forth for so many years.

We all work insane hours at events, often leaving in the wee hours of the morning! How often have you considered your safety as you head back to your car? Has there ever been moments at an actual event when you or a team member felt unsafe?

Safety in the wedding industry is a hot topic! Wedding Planner Magazine convened a panel of 3 experts to discuss best practices and answer pressing safety concerns - Scoltt Colemen (Vice President and Co-Founder of Safe Kids Inc.), Cathy Perayes (TikTok's "Mom Friend"), and Darryl Gaines (Accredited Wedding Planner, CSM and Securty/Safety Expert for Lifetime Events by Jacqueline).

The article contains valuable information on everything from having a safety plan, to tools and classes that are recommended, putting signals into place, and just general good practices. As stated by Darryl Gaines, "Safety is everyone's responsibility, and it is part of what everyone should keep in mind. Always be Pro-Active with safety and not reactive. Safety is not a program; it is a culture."
