I get asked so many questions about first looks. It's such a big moment for the bride and groom. Here are my top tips if you do decide to do a first look before the ceremony. Comment below in the comments if you have any more tips! 1. Choose a private location 2. Before your wedding day tell your wedding party and parents what the expectations are for them during the first look. Can they watch from a distance or is this a private moment? Make sure you communicate this in advance. 3. Private vows are great to add in right after the first look if you aren't having personal vows during your ceremony. 4. This tip is for the guys. I get a lot of questions right before the bride comes out about what he should do when he sees her. I usually tell him to not hold back emotions. Give her a spin and check out the dress she's been hiding away for all these months. Tell her everything your feeling in the moment.
