Es sorprendente ver como al remplazar una puerta que dividía dos espacios y crear un arco en su lugar, se pudo proporcionar más espacio visualmente y crear un área en común que se comunicará.

En este caso es la cocina y el comedor, la cual ahora fluye y se siente como una continuidad de espacio. ♥️

Small change that made a big difference.

Taking a sneak peak at a house I’m working on. The kitchen was very small and felt closed into a box so to open up the space without tearing walls down, I created an arch. The entrance was widened and the arch gives a special architectural appeal. Now as you sit sipping coffee in one room, you can enjoy the beauty of multiple rooms. Beautiful ♥️

One of my very first steps with the client, after she decided she wanted an old world style, was to take her to and shop with her for specific pieces that would define the look of this house redesign. We were able to secure the pieces before the project had begun because this is how designing through inspiration begins. We find the pieces first then build the rooms around them. Most people do it the other way around, but with heart and intent guiding you, there is only one direction to follow. Much more design through inspiration to come.
