If you’ve been following us long enough you know we love a good welcome drink. Whether it’s an Aperol Spritz topped with an edible flower, bubbles or an afternoon iced tea it’s a lovely way to welcome your people. Proper hellos are a staple in hosting and hiding out before your ceremony doesn’t really allow for that. A welcome bevie is one way to tell your guests you’re glad they’re here and sets the tone that you will be taking care of them for the rest of the evening. Thinking through guest experience is always a must and that can start the moment they arrive...just ask

Designing and planning all the details of a wedding is something we love but our favorite part of this job is moments like this! Seeing people we’ve come to care for truly enjoying each other on their wedding day. Not only was this wedding very dear to our hearts, planning with Brian and Lucas brought us so much life. It was a real highlight in all the crazy that 2021/2022 had to offer. We love you guys!

Lunaria appreciation post! Doesn’t this altar fit perfectly at this riverside micro wedding in Mt. Rainer?!

These girls were basically the guests of honor and watching this family celebrate and honor them was so special. One thing we learned about Amie + Chase while planning their wedding was they are most definitely Auntie and Uncle goals!

When Olivia first showed us this dress we loved the lace detail with the beautiful lines running down the long sleeves — these sleeves actually became a point of inspiration for the rest of the wedding! We knew this dress was going to fit perfectly in the snowy winter landscape but actually seeing it!!! Never underestimate the power of chairs at your event! It’s really easy to think ‘they are just chairs’ but they take up so much visual space that they truly impact the look and feel of an event.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Once our couple decided they wanted to get married down Fjord Hall (such a fun decision by the way) we secured ghost chairs! Since the Hall is filled with beautiful Nordic art, flower and plants weren’t allowed. Instead of fighting the space and over decorating we decided to let the space speak for itself, allowing the natural light and clean lines to shine.

Our hope was the ghost chairs and simple alter would complement the airy and modern feel of Fjord Hall and really highlight the Nordic art and beautiful guests in attendance. Let us know what you think and swipe right ti get the full picture!

**Oh! If your budget doesn’t allow for renting alternative chairs, we recommend planning around the ones available instead of in spite of! It really makes a big difference. Happy planning 🫶🏻
