I don’t balance a sword on my head due to neck injuries so I have to use my other assets 😁 (yes I can walk and move with it but it’s a work in progress!)
Adaptability is key in life, isn’t it? Lol

One of my favorite performances, Moon Belly’s 70s Egypt Belly Dance Show July 2019, in spite of (or maybe because of?😆): 3 root canals, the last one being a day or two before this night. Yikes! Lol So I missed a few final dress rehearsals, a big deal! Our floor video camera had some issue. Luckily, our videographer had put a camera up on a ceiling ledge! Hence the vantage point 😆 Big summer storm came right after this, but that was all right! This was an awesome audience, packed, and you can’t see them, but the front row was having a blast! Unlike most of our choreos, I didn’t create this one with counts. Because, it was a tribute to 70s icon Soheir Zaki, who also didn’t count out her choreos. However, after months of prep, I knew that song down deep, knew where every musical note was, and how I was going to move through it! So no problem! 😊 Song: Lissa Fakir, Oum Khaltum cover Mokhtar Said.
