For BBQ, we HIGHLY recommend Dakota Jack's Hawg Pit. The storefront has closed down to the public due to COVID, but Jackie still cooks for Tanasi Lodge Guests and delivers the food to the lodge. He prepares delicious slow cooked pulled pork, brisket, ribs, chicken, baked beans, potato salad, and coleslaw. Everything is prepared from scratch at his home near the Lodge, even the BBQ sauce!! All the meat is slow cooked and smoked for hours, with Brisket being smoked up to 12 hours! Call 4-5 days in advance to put an order in, Jackie can provide food for at least 30 guests at a time. His number is 865-679-3083.
