Flying home after an extremely upsetting Lenexa BBQ after getting hit with 6s and 7s in appearance scores. Brisket is still maintaining consistency placing 23rd out of 170+ teams and first at our table but still not good enough. Our friends cooked the auxiliaries for us and were good for a 4th place miscellaneous (beef sliders).

This weekend we competed at the Great Lenexa BBQ this was our first competition in a year and a half.
We placed 40 overall out of 150 teams. Our ribs were 25th and pork was 23rd. We’re blaming the other categories on the relocation of this event! 😂
