Griffin Farms Rodeo hosted by Deep South Rodeo Productions set for April 2024!

Make sure you are at Roy’s Store on lake Washington this weekend for a full weekend of bulls broncs and live music. Come rent a cabin on the lake and spend the weekend with us. If you missed the call in to enter it’s not to late. $1000 each night is added in the bull riding and $400 each night in the broncs

Wow!!!! That’s about all I can say about the rodeo in Gordo Al this weekend. It was a lot of fun and I would like to thank everyone that helped,supported or participated in it. I got to see a lot of people I have not seen in a long time. Thank you for coming and supporting us.

I’ve not had time the last 4 weeks to stop and do much of anything. So I’m sorry for being late. I would like to thank the cities of Horn Lake Ms., Winfield Al., Byram Ms. and Kosciusko Ms. It was a busy 4 weeks but we made it through it and we got to meet a lot of new people and good people and that’s what really makes it so enjoyable. Thank everyone that has helped the last 4 weeks to make it happen, without everyone it would not be possible.
Next up is Gordo Al. Make plans to be there we are going to have so much fun. Make sure you let all your kids come dressed up in their costumes.

We are just 1 week away from the largest IPRA/ Ncpra rodeo in the US. Make sure you get your tickets and make sure you get entered. The books are open and will remain open until Sunday. Everyone is alway wanting more money and bigger payouts. Here it is so get entered.

Make sure you are making plans on coming early and staying all weekend with us. We will be having something for the whole family. Not only will the roping be going on but we will have the largest IPRA rodeo in the us going on in the coliseum and if that’s not enough the largest ag and outdoor expo in the state of Mississippi will be taking place in the trade mart Friday-Sunday

The fast-paced, action-packed weekend of rodeo events is set for July 28-29 at the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson. The rodeo will feature traditional favorites like bull riding, calf roping, steer wrestling and barrel racing, with Chapel Hart capping the evening July 28 and Drake Milligan closing the event July 29.

Mark your calendars and dust off your grills!🍀🔥🍗 The 2023 State 4-H Poultry BBQ Cook-off will be held at the Keath Killebrew Memorial Rodeo at the Mississippi Fairgrounds on Friday, July 28th.

Contests will consist of two divisions—junior and senior. Junior contestants must be between the ages of 8-13 and senior contestants must be between the ages of 14-18.

Please reach out to your local MSU Extension agent for further details about the contest and info on registration.
