Whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts, and everyone has something to give.

As an event professional, stepping into new markets and experiencing their unique approach to events and celebrations is invaluable. Recently, I had the opportunity to travel with the Indy Pride. team to experience Palm Springs Pride—where we gained some fresh insights to enhance our local Pride celebrations (and also enjoyed a little R&R). Here are a few key takeaways:

1️⃣ Inclusive Spaces: Palm Springs excels in creating diverse, safe spaces. We’re inspired to expand Indy Pride’s zones to foster even greater inclusivity.
2️⃣ Local Flavor: Their integration of local art, music, and culture showcased how to celebrate community heritage—we’re excited to weave in more of our local flavor to reflect Indiana's own vibrant LGBTQ+ scene.
3️⃣ Sustainability: Zero-waste initiatives were front and center. We’re committed to applying similar practices for a greener celebration!

Every event is an opportunity to learn and grow, and I’m grateful to Palm Springs Pride for showcasing such a meaningful, progressive celebration. 🌴 🌈

It’s been one week since we kicked off AnalytIXIN’s inaugural 2-day summit at at 16 Tech and the post event feedback from attendees has been overwhelmingly positive! 🙌🏼

Over the past week, it’s been great to review survey results from summit guests and make notes on how to continue to refine for future events.

I’d love to hear from fellow event planners and attendees alike: What strategies do you find most effective in creating memorable and impactful events? Any tips for keeping the momentum going post-event?

🌈❤️ Wow, what an incredible journey leading the planning of the Indy Pride Festival this year! I’m beyond grateful and filled with pride as I reflect on our amazing event that brought together 35,000 beautiful souls.

A huge thank you to the volunteers, your tireless energy and unwavering support were the backbone of this event. To our sponsors and partners, your generosity and commitment made this possible.

To the performers and artists, your talents and stories inspired us all. And to the attendees, thank you for showing up, being yourselves, spreading love and making our community shine.
