Joe Monroe is a highly versatile writer, voice-over artist, character actor, monologue coach and improv teacher with over twenty-five years’ experience in the performing arts and entertainment industry. He holds a BA in Theater from Seattle Pacific University and is an associate artist at Taproot Theatre Company. He is also the founder, teacher and creator of “Acting for Smartys,” an improvisation

al acting workshop for elementary, tweens and high school age students. He has taught workshops for clients such as: Fairview Christian School (Seattle), Edmonds Homeschool Resource Center, Brookside Elementary School (Shoreline School District) and Dandylyon Drama (Lake Forest Park). Joe has over thirty years’ experience in monologue study and is pleased to be working with Tiffany Talent. He is excited to help kids and adults hone their skills to translate the screenwriter’s written word into their own thoughts and emotions.
