Is there any time of the year quite like Christmas? The warmth of the fire, candles in the window, green garlands, pretty wreaths, twinkle lights…we could go on and on.
So now that the garden has been put to rest, it’s been fun to have more free time to be a little creative. We’re excited to be getting ready to be a vendor at Willamette Valley Pie’s Ladies Night coming up on Friday, December 1st. We’re busy making a number of fun items to fill your homes with Christmas cheer! ♥️

Cafe au Lait dahlias. They surprised us this year with how well they did. We got new tuber stock this year and we’re so glad. Because they don’t have the longest vase life we don’t use them in subscriptions. But they are beautiful for wedding work.
Let the rains come! We have our tulips planted and our dahlia tubers dug and stored away for dividing, just before we’re supposed to get some good old Oregon rain. It feels amazing! We are ready for a slower pace of life for a bit.

It feels like we just planted these dahlia tubers and here it is, time to start the storage process again. We’re supposed to have a frost here either tomorrow or the next day so this is most likely our last harvest for the year. We’ll miss their beauty so much. We’re excited to see the tuber production when we dig them. We’ll be having another tuber sale this next spring!
Soon we’ll be cutting back the dahlias and digging the tubers to store for the winter. Until then we’ll savor all the blooms we can. 🍂
It was one of those “pinch me” moments. A finished studio, pretty products to sell, a beautiful fall morning, answered prayers. Life has a way of turning out different than expected and this is one of those times of reflection and gratitude for us.

It’s kind of surreal. We’re getting close to the end of our flower season and the last of the subscription bouquets are being delivered today. We love what we do and can’t thank you enough for your support!
As we wrap up our fresh flower season, we move onto our dried flower (everlasting) product. We just love this time of year! 🍂

Good morning! We are so pleased with our ranunculus crop this year. They are one of our very favorite flowers because of their beauty, stem length and that they last so long as a cut flower. Have a good day!

We are finally starting to harvest tulips! Our Spring this year has been so cold and wet, our tulips are about 3 weeks behind normal. Spring subscriptions start next week for those who purchased. Can’t wait to get them to you! 🌷
