Looking for a great opportunity to invest in the youth of our community? Champion Oaks Ranch served 206 youth and their families in 2023 spanning over Jasper, Newton, Sabine and San Augustine Counties. We served students at Buna ISD, Jasper ISD and Kirbyville ISD bi-weekly and have hosted a summer camp for the past 3 years for Evadale ISD as well as Newton county youth. We are blessed to be adding Burkeville ISD to our schedule this fall and potential 1 to 2 more schools. We also serve over 30 students & families at the ranch privately on the weekends.

Good morning, 10 years ago was the year that we built a bonfire that resembled a space shuttle up on the levee here in Garyville. It was the first time we used vines as part of the build and proved to be useful on other bonfires in the future as well. We always look for natural materials to fulfill the desired look when we can. In 2015 (Bass bonfire) and 2018 (Pelican bonfire) we used wood cookies thin cut for feathers and scales. This year we will be using them again. (hint) You will see alot of them on this build. Now hopefully this forecast rain will help lift this burn ban 🤞🤞🤞 Back to 2013.. I remember it being a rainy bonfire season. Lots of work done in the rain and at night to finish the bonfire. It was muddy as can be behind the levee and it made it much more challenging. In the end it was worth the great memories made that year. We got to meet Alyssa Carson one evening when she came to visit our space shuttle bonfire. It was one of many awesome experiences we've had up on the levee. We have met famous musicians, tv stars, state political figures, and interesting people from all walks of life who come to see our bonfires. What a blessing it is to say that our creations has given us these opportunities. This year we plan to begin getting the next generation involved by helping out with this bonfire. There won't be any strict deadline we set for ourselves like years past. Just taking our time and enjoying it with our kids. Like last year, if/when we get the permit we will let yall know the plan for this one and start posting updates. Thanks again to all of yall for showing the tradition love.
