Progress has its challenges
Please be aware that the normal flow of traffic, into and out of Pine Level along US Hwy 70A west of the city limits, will be impacted due to NCDOT highway construction projects in and around the Eastfield Crossing development. Effective August 13th, Hwy 70A will be closed from the intersection of Firetower Road to the eastern entrance into the Robbins’ Nest Restaurant. Traffic will be detoured around Eastfield Crossing through the newly constructed Providence Boulevard (intersects with Firetower Road), connecting with US Hwy 70 at the existing Hwy 70 / 70A traffic light. Detour, directional, and digital signs will be erected to identify this temporary routing. This disruption in traffic flow is expected to last approximately 4 weeks.
