Late night bites are a fantastic way to keep your guests and party going! 1. Expertise & Experience: Our JAL team has over 37 years of combined experience in the event planning and wedding industry. We bring a depth of knowledge to make your wedding happen just the way you’ve dreamed of!
2. Personalized Meetings: We love to meet up with our couples throughout the wedding planning process. We schedule meetings to get to know you as a couple and your wedding plans, walk you through the day as it gets closer, and support you along the way.
3. Vendor Recommendations & Communication: We have created our very own vendor preference sheet with some of the best Atlanta has to offer. As the day gets closer, we take over that communication with your vendors to get all of those little details in place for your big day.
4. Timeline Creation: Our wedding timelines are a detailed piece of art! Starting at the beginning of wedding day, we time out every detail to make it go as smoothly as possible. We share our timelines with your vendors so they can feel prepared and confident going into your wedding, as well.
5. Planning support: We set you up with your own electronic planing profile with many resources available to you in the planning process. You can personalize and use it for a wide array of options to make the planning that much easier!
6. Rehearsal and Day-of Coverage: We lead your rehearsal with family and wedding party to make sure everyone is confident going into the wedding ceremony. On the day of the wedding, your lead coordinator will be with you for 8+ hours, as well as an assistant coordinator, making sure all is going according to plan so you can enjoy the day.
7. Wedding Day Advocate: Speed bumps happen on wedding day, but we are there to advocate for you to make it as stress-free as we can. It is our goal for you to enjoy your day and remember it as one of the most cherished days of your life, and advocating for you is truly our pleasure.

Meet a member of our team who has been with us since the beginning, Cathy Jones! 👋

Cathy was born and raised in Atlanta, and was previously an x-ray technician turned stay-at-home mom. Cathy has been in the corporate event world for 22 years now, and 7 years in the wedding biz. We asked Cathy to answer a few questions to get to know her better: 

1. What is something memorable from your wedding? We got married in a minister’s office with family and friends, then we left and went to move into an apartment that afternoon.
2. What is a random fact about you? I’m a car racing enthusiast….my bucket list is topped by attending an F1 race!!!
3. Finish this sentence: “When I’m not at a wedding, you can find me...”?  ...I just love my children and grands so much, so at this point in my life it’s going to kid’s sports. I look forward to having breaks so that I can travel to Raleigh, where my son and his family live.

Meet the owner of Just About Love, Lauren Perez! 👋

Lauren is born and raised here in Atlanta, and has been in the industry for 11+ years, 7 of those years owning JAL. We asked Lauren to answer a few questions to get to know her better: 

1. What is something memorable from your wedding? My husband wanted a chocolate fountain. That is all he asked for and it was turned on too early and all the chocolate got hard so no one ever got any.  Also, just having all our loved ones in one place was so special and memorable! 
2. What is a random fact about you? I have gone sky diving in New Zealand with my brother after college. Also I was a heart patient who has had multiple open heart surgeries. 
3. Finish this sentence: “When I’m not at a wedding, you can find me…” …hanging with my twin daughters and husband, or traveling!

Meet a member of our team that has been with us for 3 years, Amanda Schultz! 👋

Amanda grew up in Charolette and has a background in office administration. We asked Amanda to answer a few questions to get to know her better: 

1. What is something memorable from your wedding? I made our cake topper— a dinosaur in a veil and a turtle in a top hat (swipe to see a photo!).
2. What is your favorite part of the wedding? I love the personal details and how each couple takes the day and makes it uniquely them.
3. What is one random fact about you? I was a ceramics major in college.

Meet a member of our team that joined us last year, Jodi Randazzo! 👋

Jodi is from Sarasota, Florida and used to be an elementary school teacher. Now, she stays home with her 3 kids and is a coordinator on our team. We asked Jodi to answer a few questions to get to know her better: 

1. What is something memorable from your wedding? Our DJ was able to get everyone out on the dance floor, even the grandparents, at the same time! I loved dancing along side all of the people who matter most to me, it was very special. 
2. What is your favorite party of the wedding? I love the party and dancing. Maybe it’s because that moment was so special to me at my wedding, but I also love seeing the bride and groom let loose on the dance floor and have a blast! 
3. Finish this sentence: “When I’m not at a wedding, you can find me…” You can find me baking, crocheting while watching trash tv, or more likely chasing around my 3 young kids!

A moment for the dip kiss 👏🏼

The dip kiss is such a romantic way to capture your love on your wedding day and we love to see it!

Our tips for nailing the dip kiss:
1. Practice before the day! You want to be confident and enjoy the moment.
2. Hold the dip for a few seconds! Make it dramatic and allow time for the moment to be captured.
3. Do it often! Fully embrace the dip kiss and incorporate it in your ceremony, entrance, first dance, send off, etc.
