We had an unforgettable weekend at The MBN Big Pig Jig in Vienna, GA!

To all of my bbq friends:

Chuck and I are going to go and do a loin demo for the apalachee high school bbq club. They are a self funded club. They have been selling bbq and ribs to make money to buy equipment, meat and entry fees. We want to be a blessing to them. This is where you come in, if you feel led to donate anything on this list either contact me or email the club directly. They are in the process of making an Amazon wish list to make it easier for everyone. I will also meet anyone that wants to make a donate of supplies to them.

We felt like this needed its own post. It is an incredible honor to receive the 2024 Tony Thurston Award. Knowing the kind of man Tony was and what he did for the people he cared for is inspiring. We miss him everyday, but his memory is always with us. The Doc Holliday Festival & BBQ Competition holds so many amazing memories for us and we are proud to continue on the legacy that Tony led. 🧡

This weekend we traveled south to Griffin, Georgia to compete in the GBA Doc Holiday Festival & BBQ Competition against 39 teams.

We placed…
•4th in Loin
•2nd in Pork
•30th in Ribs

Which landed us in 7th overall!
