One of the prettiest “new” flowers we found in 2024. This variety of ranunculus is called “Moderna” and it is fun to watch as it matures. The shape morphs and changes and ends up very different from where it started. Looking forward to other discoveries in 2025. Thanks to for bringing in new products

It’s a very special day here . Four years ago on December 18th, we found our miracle brown anole lizard in a box of Florida grown cedar. As many of you know….I heard something moving around and screamed out loud, and in turn Lisa strongly told me “whatever it is, don’t hurt it!” Four years later and Lenny is still going strong. She still runs her domain, and when she doesn’t want to be photographed, well then she doesn’t want to be photographed. So we will have to settle for her little pumpkin pie. She will refuse to eat that too. As I said, she runs the show. 🦎

Why is this woman smiling? I saw this magnificent magnolia branch this morning, being unloaded from a farmer’s truck. I was transfixed by its beauty and so followed him into the market to see where it was going to end up. of course. And within minutes it was mine.

The fall trio is very versatile. Need more room on the table? Take the third vase and put it in the powder room, on the serving table or gift it to a neighbor.

The brilliance of the autumn trees and their bright display of leaves is truly awe inspiring. When it comes to flowers, we find so much beauty using the softer tones of fall color.
