I am absolutely loving cookbook.

This is Crispy Ginger Ramen Noodles. I’ve also made and loved the Chicken and Cabbage in Cream, the Creamy Garlic Chicken Pasta, and the Potluck Teriyaki Meatballs and Macaroni Salad. I cannot wait to keep cooking my way through this book! All the recipes have been packed with flavor, and very approachable (especially for a tired lady on a weeknight).

Chai-spiced Butternut Squash soup. I am still cooking but I keep forgetting to post pics! This is so good warm and soothing on a gloomy day. You can swipe to see my home made chai spice mix 💁‍♀️ I served this soup over jasmine rice and it perfectly completed this meal! Yum!

Black bean stew topped with sour cream, pickled red onion, and cilantro. I throw some bacon in with this stew and it adds the best smoky flavor! Also, I like to cook this in the pressure cooker for maximized bean flavors.
This is my mom’s dinnerware and I LOVE it. It reminds me of teenagehood.

I had a snobbish disdain for baking when I was in culinary school. Baker? Not me! I was bound for the sauté, grill, and the night life! Cooking is definitely my passion and where I do some great work, but as I have grown and had more time to bake at home— I’ve fallen in love with it. The slower pace, and unparalleled smells coming from the kitchen are real draws. I love making enriched dough breads best. This beaut is a challah I made for Rose Hashana. (Please know that I am sorry for making the crown incorrectly.) This rant is really all to say baking is awesome and I’m glad I have had the time to learn how much I like it.

Remember when I was whining that summer was ending? Never mind. This white bean stew reminded me of how awesome fall is. It’s vegan, it’s complex, it’s satisfying.

Also did you see my logo? 😬 I totally made it myself so like don’t worry that I wasted any money on it 😂

I’m also working on pricing sheets and a website. And cooking classes? If you were to take a class what would you want to learn?

And yeah, I didn’t wipe the rim if this bowl. Someone teach me food photography.
