Proud Mom moment! I don't have a personal Instagram but I wanted to share with all my friends on Instagram how proud I am of my daughter Emily. She published this cookbook and it's fabulous! Emily works full-time as a nurse manager at Kaiser hospital in the NICU department. She's married and has a beautiful baby girl my granddaughter, Molly, Mae. I love her so much! Everyone in our family likes to cook, and Emily is passionate about healthy meals and she cooks every day for her family. She started posting some of her recipes and ideas on Instagram and then she created her own page .rn

I can't believe that not only did she publish this cookbook, but my own Mom did all the artwork, water color images. So it's really a family collective and is all about love, great food and creating projects that you're passionate about!

The recipes a really good, her photos and stories about how she created the recipes. She included one of mine, which was a recipe I created and entered into the Mandarin Festival competition in 2006 and won the grand prize. Whoo hoo!

Our final wedding of 2023 celebrating beautiful Andrea & Carlos' wedding at the Tahoe Blue Estate. We had much fun planning this wedding and over the last year, we were so worried about the snow and not being able to be outside because there would be 5 feet of snow on the ground. Well it wasn't as we expected but absolutely beautiful with blue skies and crisp mountain air. Congratulations

How about a camping theme wedding? We love to camp and many of these campgrounds have beautiful, outdoor lawns and pavilions, which could be really transformed in to something fun for a family event, welcome dinner or wedding.

One of the most loved-filled weddings this year. I've had the pleasure to get to know Kaleen and Leta over the last year and partner with them on planning their wedding at The Landing Resort. The weather was absolutely outstanding, a perfect fall day.  It's always a pleasure to work with our planning partners that are not only partners, but friends. It's such a joy to create these beautiful moments. Now more than ever our commitment to inclusivity, kindness, and love,  represent our core values, and it was an honor and a pleasure to work with this amazing couple that are now lifelong friends.

One of my beautiful brides Sydney at her bridal shower this weekend. Sydney's Mom Wendy, has been a close friend of our family and we're so happy to help her plan her wedding in October at the Barn at Green Valley. It's a beautiful venue and will be outstanding in October with the fall colors in the leaves turning. Rehearsal dinner will be at Rock Creek Vineyard and we know how beautiful it is for a rehearsal dinner! Right?

We're still in all over the beautiful celebration of love this weekend honoring Sam and Julia. I want to make sure I give credit to the amazing bartender Ian. He is an expert at craft cocktails, and he makes his own mixers using fresh fruit, herbs, spices and all kinds of unique ingredients. Our local custom stationary source is Lindsey from . She did the bar menu, dinner menu, name cards, flower cards and prince, custom wedding invitations, and signage. Everything one needs.

Triple header this weekend and each one was so beautiful and special and very unique. Meredith and Darrell came all the way from New Orleans for their wedding celebration. They started the day with a Ceremony on the Bleu Wave Yacht, and then departed for the Chart House for sunset photos and a wonderful dinner. I am forever grateful to my outstanding fellow Planner partners I love how we are all such a great team and thank you thank you thank you to Keely for taking the lead on the day of the wedding. You're the best! Love you

Hello friends! Sharing some exciting news about our expansion to new offices x 2twice the space, and perfect location on Kingsbury Grade. See notice below:

I am thrilled to announce Tahoe By Design is moving to new offices next week. Our new space is twice as grand and spacious, and we will have a showroom exclusively for design, decor and styling! The new location is on lower Kingsbury @ Stateline, NV at 256 Kingsbury. I call the new office 'Beauty Boulevard' because we have hair/make up styling next door and a new business offering beauty services and our friends at Rose Petals Floral Design across the street. The new space allows us the creativity to design and style custom, luxury weddings in our cozy romantic space with everything one needs for the perfect destination wedding. It brings much joy to our team to have the space we need to plan and manage events and weddings. We're remodeling, designing and decorating and ready for client visits Aug. 1. We can't wait to host you in our new offices!
