DD's Gourmet Cookies Story

Who is DD behind the DD Gourmet cookie label? None other than the infamous Miss Deborah Frazier born and raised in Miami, Florida. From the early stages of her life friends and family called her Dee Dee. In 1989 she began making cookies for her nieces and nephews giving them a more nutritious cookie. Dee Dee baked cookies with natural fruit juices instead of white sugar

and high fructose corn syrup, ingredients included wholesome wheat flour, with no artificial colors or preservatives. Soon her cookie audience expanded to the adult members of her family, members of the church, and ultimately members of the community. Dee Dee began to have a constant stream of orders as a result and the demand for DD’s cookies was on the rise. Dee Dee not only
had a talent and passion for baking cookies she also had a personal relationship with her
clientele who enjoyed her cookies and supported her business so rather than establishing a stationary Dee Dee walked the community and hand-deliver her cookies to the people who so loved them. DD's cookies became well known in the community and her customers would be on
standby in their businesses and homes and even on street corners waiting for the delivery of her fresh baked cookies. On Sunday mornings Dee Dee would donate cookies for the after church brunch. One of the church members suggested to her to add Gourmet to her fine Cookie label because the cookies were of such excellence she agreed and that day began the official branding of DD's Gourmet Cookies. DD's regular Cookie route was Cocowalk in Coconut Grove within a short period of time
DD made available to different restaurants in the Grove her Gourmet cookies and they were put on the dessert menu of several of the restaurants DD Gourmet cookies continued to flourish fast forward 15 years later DD Gourmet cookies is still a one woman operation she had makes all of her cookies and has expanded with other fine pastries and bakes them all with love. With overwhelming demand and anxious anticipation and encouragement from Miss Deborah Frazier's loyal clientele she finally and proudly announced the grand opening of the permanent home of her gourmet cookies at The Shops of Sunset Place located at 5701Sunset Plaza. Doors officially opened February 18th. Now at long last her customers can enjoy her fabulous delicious
and nutritious gourmet desserts on a daily basis. Dee Dee sends a personal and heartfelt thanks to her many clients who have supported her throughout the years. Bon appetite!!
