This weekend we designed wedding florals for Lindsey and Coleman at @thecapeclubofsharon. The Cape Club is such a beautiful setting with their newly renovated ballroom featuring a dramatic cathedral ceiling, elegant chandeliers, and an oversized dance floor with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking their lush green outdoor backdrop. They chose a beautiful palette with muted fall colors including ivory, blush, mauve, burnt orange, and golden yellow. The designs included dahlias, marigolds, sedum, celosia and other flowers from the gardens of Jim Beaumariage, @kipp.laura, @pepper.and.fern.florals, and favorites like ranunculus, lisianthus, mums, leucadendron, asclepia, eucalyptus, and amaranthus from @directflowers2florist and @kelleywholesaleflorist. The bride’s bouquet was tied with beautiful silk ribbon from @silkandwillow. .Flower design is always more fun when you work with a great team and we had a dream team working on their wedding, including @paeoniadesigns @kipp.laura @kategrzesiuk and @megan_sene. A sneak peak of Sonia and Dan’s wedding this past weekend! They were married at @theriverclub in Scituate, a beautiful wedding venue located on the Massachusetts South Shore, along the coast. We used gorgeous flowers in deep jewel-toned hues and lush textures from the gardens of @kipp.laura and @joyfarmbolton, and @kelleywholesaleflorist to give Sonia the bold vibe she was envisioning. Dahlias, anemones, amaranthus, ranunculus, and many many more. I am so thankful for our behind-the-scenes dream team who executed the vision beautifully, @paeoniadesigns, @kateofnatick, @kipp.laura, and @katie.madormo. I was introduced to Sonia by one of my former colleagues at Bose, what a small world. I’m so grateful they chose me as their wedding floral designer and was touched when Sonia reached out the day after to share, “Everything looked absolutely amazing. I still can’t get over how beautiful all the flowers were. You and your team totally matched the vibe I was going for!!” Messages like these mean the world.
