Some people say the question “what do you do for work?” is cliche or that it shouldn’t define a person.

For me, my career and how I got started tell a lot about who I am! I've been on both sides of the camera my whole life! It started getting serious in high school, about 15 years ago, when friends needed senior photos. (My husband was actually one of my very first clients!!)

Then I started photographing weddings and became infatuated!! I'm obsessed with design, colors, flowers, creating art… and not to mention, celebrating!!

Now, all these years later, I’m still just as in love with it as the day I started!! I couldn’t be more excited to show you my new logo and look. ✨

📍 Currently based in Green Bay, Wisconsin but travel worldwide for weddings, elopements, and engagement photography!
🪻My style is a balance of editorial elegance mixed with documentary honesty!

We had SO much fun capturing this wedding at Foundry 45 in Kewaskum, Wi! Very unique venue with history and character! The bridal party was such a hoot, look at how much fun they are having.

One of my favorite moments was first look with dad, it was so emotional. He clearly loves his little girl!

A moment does not have to be crisp to be clear.

I hope the trend of blurry photos isn't just a phase.
I’ve been obsessed with this style since high school when I did a photography project on motion blur.
What struck me most was how a single image could hold more than one moment.�
The second photo in this post was my first blurry wedding photo I took completely by mistake!
BUT I fell in love with how storytelling it felt and from then I couldn’t stop!
Like... a smile and a frown in the same frame.
It’s almost like you’re looking at a photo of a video,
a memory that doesn’t sit still.
There’s this unpolished, honest feeling in the blur.
It’s the opposite of posed. It says: I was there. This happened.
Even if it’s out of focus because real life isn’t paused, it’s moving, it’s fleeting
And that’s what makes it powerful.
In a world obsessed with hyper-perfection... blurry photos feel human.
It means felt.
It means a hand moved mid-laugh.
It means the camera didn’t interrupt the moment, it was part of it.
That’s why I think this trend isn’t going anywhere.
It’s nostalgic, emotional, and kinda rebellious in the best way.
