At last night’s bridal fashion show, Nardo’s live-painted a wedding dress for New York Bridal Fashion Week show. After everyone left, she kicked off her shoes and kept painting, fully committed to her craft even amid Fashion Week. A true testament to her passion.
I asked her beloved seamstresses if this is how she creates her designs, through paint. They confirmed it’s one of her methods, alongside drawing on paper or sketching on an iPad. A true creative artist.
Her 2027 Spring collection features sculptural gowns with vibrant 3D flower embellishments, crystal details, and colorful fabrics.

The biggest differentiator in capturing those elevated images, like unique bridal portraits, isn’t solely the photographer you choose or the inspiration photos you provide....it’s time.
In the past, I often wanted to linger on beautiful bride portraits or create fun, unique family moments, but tight timelines forced us to rush through and prioritize the must-have shots. Today, I focus on full coverage wedding days and building detailed timelines with plenty of breathing room for creative work. Just as important is having an honest conversation with couples upfront about how much those extra, elevated images mean to them. Let’s be real..some would happily spend more time creating more portraits, while others are clearly ready to trade the camera for a cosmopolitan and head to cocktail hour!

Some people say the question “what do you do for work?” is cliche or that it shouldn’t define a person.

For me, my career and how I got started tell a lot about who I am! I've been on both sides of the camera my whole life! It started getting serious in high school, about 15 years ago, when friends needed senior photos. (My husband was actually one of my very first clients!!)

Then I started photographing weddings and became infatuated!! I'm obsessed with design, colors, flowers, creating art… and not to mention, celebrating!!

Now, all these years later, I’m still just as in love with it as the day I started!! I couldn’t be more excited to show you my new logo and look. ✨

📍 Currently based in Green Bay, Wisconsin but travel worldwide for weddings, elopements, and engagement photography!

We had SO much fun capturing this wedding at Foundry 45 in Kewaskum, Wi! Very unique venue with history and character! The bridal party was such a hoot, look at how much fun they are having.

One of my favorite moments was first look with dad, it was so emotional. He clearly loves his little girl!
