Love my job! These hand-made fresh arrangements are for an upcoming floral workshop. I find joy working within every budget. I was able to use Dollar Store vessels & decor & a little elbow grease and hot glue…to snaz up these sweet little vases. Fresh florals added and we have a sweet treat & gift for Valentine’s Day. Working on 🎄decor for my home the past two weeks. Made my own door wreath by stripping down an old one someone gave me and decorating to match my sweet son’s “candy cane” outdoor light display he put up for us this year. (Less than $15 for all of it). I also made 3 pieces of Christmas Carole wall art…for above our formal sofa (frames, some canvas prints, spray paint and a little muscle😂🤩). My home is a mix of Baby Jesus met a White-formal-Christmas in one half and then Santa’s mystical workshop that met some nutcrackers in a Forrest in the other! 🎅🏼🎅🏼🎄🎄 If you need help decorating or organizing..planning a party, florals and more..let me know! Loved decorating my client’s home for the holidays yesterday. We used a blend of old and new….taking treasures she had with new treasures that will adorn her beautiful home and bring more rest to her. ❤️🥳🎄🤶🏼 I love that these moments of creating will also be enjoyed by her friends & family too. Who said trees are just for Christmas? Made these Harvest trees from the base up to welcome this season of gratefulness. This past Labor Day weekend, I had the honor of working for precious clients. ❤️These miracle/covenant moments aren’t entered into lightly by me. When I prepare events, I know that there will be much preparation & fluidity to what I will do…to accomplish moments that will be joy-filled for them. The opportunity to coordinate vendors, facilitate the wedding/reception and create florals, tablescapes, decor for the cake, pole & draping, a wedding arch..and so much more (some of them FIRSTS).. was undergirded by the servant hearts of my clients who said YES to believing in me and my business…but also by my husband, my son and the delightful friends & family who helped so selflessly to accomplish it ALL.❤️ My WHY for owning my business continues to be an emphatic “because LOOK and see the goodness in the land of the living…breathed OUT in these moments!” 🥹 When I see a bride & groom enter covenant so purposefully & intentionally…with the desire that everyone who sits amongst their table will feel welcome as a true part of their hearts…well it makes “work” feel like legacy. And to say YES to them and this will always be my motivation.❤️

“Don’t despise small beginnings”……
🌸I used to kill every plant and flower.. and now I own an event business where I organize celebrations, make FLOWERS, help brides & organize beauty & dreams for others.
🌸I have been asking myself who do I WANT to be…now…and in the next season of my life. Who AM I NOW? I have sometimes grieved over what I thought I couldn’t do, what was “lost” and I was the one who needed to change my perspective on WHAT WAS POSSIBLE. If I changed my attitude and atmosphere (who was I listening to..who & what voices surround me in the journey to encourage or discourage?)…the possible, maybe probable…became reality.
🌸As a self-taught, small business owner for 15+ years, designer, creative, intern of LIFE…I have been practicing, learning, creating, failing, listening, applying what I’ve learned, and then starting over again…every.single.day. TODAY is the day to start again! You can do it!🌸🎉
❤️NEVER stop trying…you may just SHOCK yourself with the plans that start in your heart and dreams and become LIFE with your “YES!”

Listening to my sweet son’s album today and this song just speaks of the very heart of his stories in life. Every great song evokes something in us. I’m reminded of his 4 years, pouring out the good, bad, better, worst, pain and joy. He writes with raw emotion in this story he tells on his album. Though it won’t “speak” to every person who listens..I listen with raw emotion because I watched his journey become the tones in his voice, the ebb & flow of his emotions and now the outpouring of all of that in this amazing album that is his story..his truth. Listen for yourself..picture some place in your journey. I’m sure it will speak to you as you open the ears of your heart, too. So proud of you my son. I’ll always be your biggest fan.❤️

What an honor to do all of the custom, fresh and dried florals & all tablescapes throughout the beautiful home of her dear friend, for my beautiful friend’s engagement soirée. Loved even adding a little floral fun to our “naked cake”. 🌹The hostesses truly made this a magical evening-as friends & family celebrated the beginning of a new, beautiful journey for Brenda & Gregg. What a true pleasure, privilege & honor to serve for two amazing days with & foundation, for their gala, alongside the most amazing interns from . What an astounding leadership team , Paola, Ryan and the other amazing team members who serve with such fortitude and selflessness to save dogs, help vets with PTSD, provide life-saving surgeries & health care to abused & neglected dogs…and so much more (globally & domestically). Bonus!This Texas girl Even met a new friend & sponsor from (Heather) from my hometown in Milwaukee. Thanks to Dave Welch (PhotosWithClass) for capturing me with the fun “puppies” I got to talk with, who earlier in the evening felt like I was talking with my sweet sons I missed while away. Floral-making event for my momma friends tomorrow. Preparing my own tablescapes today as we enjoy time celebrating life and family. Love that I can “play” and create with flowers and then see others dive into the deep with me. I lost myself…..and found myself inside of the beauty of Creation.
Don’t ever give up on your dreams, it just may be the creative part of another person’s joy.

Loved this decorating project for my sweet client. Easter celebration this weekend will sparkle with color & fun. We used elements she had (tableware, glasses, porcelain vases) and then I added splashes of decor from garland to small flower arrangements with fresh & dried flowers (she will add beautiful yellow tulips to the clear vases with river rocks) and pops of color will make the space sing of spring & Easter rejoicing. The table and hutch were such a delight to create around.
Love my job. Love my clients allow me to “play” in a creative way.

What a beautiful day hosting my beautiful niece’s bridal shower. What an honor to do homemade tablescapes, florals, food & decor so family & friends could celebrate this beautiful bride. I recall beautiful memories of this beautiful bride-to-be and recognizing as I’ve prepared these tables, she will now prepare her table with legacy and love as she enters this new adventure in her life, with her partner. Can’t wait to watch and rejoice with her.❤️

What an amazing trip & pleasure working with House of Ikon for London Fashion Week. Love that my college class through Lovegevity provided this opportunity for me. Events of all sorts take creativity, hard work, dedication, organization and patience. I’ve surely been privileged to take part in working every facet of such a beautiful event, with the most amazing designers, models, co-workers, photographers, entrepreneurs, organizers, interns (like myself) and now new friends! Can’t say thank you enough. I’ll be back!

Tablescapes are a beautiful piece of special moments I love to create. I’ve always found joy in the details, whether I’ve hosted & organized a brunch, shower, party or other celebratory occasion. Using what you have is key (whatever the budget includes, from paper plates to china). I love to take what I have, add in something new & memorable and then fine tune by making my own fresh & fake florals arrangements, adding in trinkets of special momentos or themed elements that celebrate & make it personal. Whatever the moment..whatever the budget, the table brings together hearts for connection, intimacy, relationship and creating space & beauty for these moments is my ultimate goal

Jason & Marsia’s Wedding
October 2021
This will forever be one of the most special moments of my life. My friend (who was a former large event planner & coordinator) believed in me and asked me to coordinate her wedding. I kind of giggled and said something like, “Ummm, I’ve never coordinated a wedding!”😱She saw something in me that made her say yes to me…when I didn’t even know I was beginning something new. I hastily picked up some of my “stored” and borrowed creativity, her plans, some of my own ideas (and love for organizing and party planning my own parties) and began to run!
This wedding was coordinated in a month while Marsia worked more than full time and I put components together. Our rehearsal was in her beautiful home (where she and her family coordinated the most wonderful BBQ dinner). The venue was the most charming, rustic barn. From the food truck, cakes, linens & charcuterie Marsia chose, to her beautiful flowers she and her family made, and my sweet son being able to help me the day of (setting up every detail inside and out…with us even washing all the dishes to return to the china vendor) this precious event came together like a whirlwind of learning, working hard, having fun and feeling like her family was my new family I wanted to hug and adopt.
The moment she gave me…left me knowing I CAN DO THIS! It was a beautiful internship of what many pieces look like when creativity comes alive and then someone gives you wings to take that journey to “somewhere”. This YES to me truly showed me that events & memories of people being in special moments like these were something I wanted to see more of and be more a part of. Marsia & Jason gave me wings, insight and then freedom (her push out of my safe nest was necessary). Sometimes good mentors do that…push, believe in you and then force you to fly. With wide eyes and an open heart I say “YESSSSS”.❤️ I hope to keep showing other brides I will do my best to fly for them too.

Wedding Celebration

What a special moment to design, plan, make flowers and tablescapes, organize & facilitate this beautiful gathering in the bride’s parents’ home.
The mother of the groom’s son and daughter in law were married during the Covid outbreak, so she wanted a special moment to celebrate again, with a larger gathering of friends & family who could not attend (as they were married in another state).
We used the furniture & decor the bride’s mom had in her home (minus the rented round tables/chairs/green linens). The mother of the groom worked so heartily to bless her son and new daughter. All the beautiful vases around her gorgeous home were used as vessels for my flower arrangements and I was privy to all the ornate & gorgeous furnishings as I decorated; truly remarkable fun to tap into the creative with another person’s treasured belongings. This made for such an intimate space to gather & celebrate. Food was catered and delicious. They “played” on the flowers I was using for their tablescape also.
It was so special to celebrate & be a part of this family’s special moment.

This was an extremely special & personal day to host, decorate, plan & prepare my beautiful niece’s bridal shower.
From designing/planning & making each flower arrangement & tablescape from scratch, to hosting her beloved guests…and all the intricate details I was looking to incorporate from their multi-cultural backgrounds, it was truly an honor to be a part of this moment in her (and my) life.❤️ One I will always treasure.
