Neither rain, nor sleet or snow stops Scratch Catering & Fine Foods from serving our clients....

Today’s assignment... feed 3,000 American Airlines ground and ramp employees hot soup while they worked feverously to keep airtraffic moving at DFW Airport. With a choice of Chicken Tortilla or Tomato Basil, both seemed to be well received....especially given the treacherous & blustery conditions.

Scratch Catering & Fine Foods has catered for most MLB Teams, served high profile events such MLB Series games and the MLB All-Star Game. Now we can add NBA teams to the resume. Thanks to the Los Angeles Lakers for inviting us to feed and fuel the team with a pregame meal and snacks before their visit and match up with Dallas Mavericks.

Always an honor and privilege to serve professional sports organizations! Everyone immediately would assume these athletes require high end, eclectic cuisine, but it is always amazing when they order simple items such as peanut butter and jelly sandwichs.

While most families were joyfully seeing what Santa brought or were busy opening presents, Scratch Catering & Fine Foods was busy executing our largest job EVER!

Today, we had the privilege of preparing Christmas lunch for 9,500 American Airlines employees at DFW Airport. Yes, you read that correct.... NINE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED.

So, after we executed a record number of parties and events for Christmas, our attention last week turned to preparations to serve:

Fresh Baked Dinner Yeast Rolls (quite the challenge)
Roast Beef with Gravy
Sliced Chicken Breast with Country Black Pepper Gravy
Mashed Sweet Potatoes
Mac Cheese
Green Bean Casserole
Apple Cobbler
Pecan Pie Cobbler

After working around the clock the last 2 days, we are officially closed until January 6th. The staff absolutely earned the paid time off for the rest of the year and the first part of January until we reopen to spend time with their families and loved ones.

And by the way, today’s event was met with rave reviews and our ex*****on was second to none. Our relationship with American Airlines has grown exponentially this year and we look forward to further development throughout 2025.

Extremely Thankful this Thanksgiving season to have created and executed over 200 Take Out Orders for our loyal customers.

New twist this year....we are also sending out 1,250 Boxed HOT Thanksgiving meals of turkey, ham, dressing, Mac cheese and elote street corn to American Airlines employees at DFW Airport that are working to facilitate everyone’s holiday travel. So proud of our team that has worked so hard to accommodate every opportunity we’ve been blessed with.

Thanks again to everyone who has supported us throughout the year. We look forward to a crazy busy Christmas season making everyone’s holiday parties, celebration and gatherings truly spectacular.

Scratch Catering & Fine Foods is pleased to have been selected as the full time caterer for The Clariden School of Southlake! Offering daily lunch service, parents can choose what days to skip the “brown bags” and treat their child to some of our amazing gourmet meals, delivered hot and fresh everyday.

If your your child attends The Clariden School of Southlake and you have not tried out the meal service, September menu was just launched yesterday and ready for ordering!

Tonight our team at Scratch Catering & Fine Foods was honored to be part of the catering collaboration for the MLB All-Star Game Home Run Derby, serving both the American League Clubhouse and National League Clubhouse!

Over the past four years, we’ve catered countless meals for almost every team in Majorleaguebaseball, including Game 1 of the 2023 World Series! But tonight stood out and was special because we were able to share our amazing cuisine with the very best players from every organization in BOTH clubhouses.

After several months of planning this event, we departed the stadium just before midnight, beaming with pride of how flawless our team executed our part of the evening. In fact, all the vendors worked in unison to make this a world class experience with a Texas flair to showcase MLB’s Best of the Best!

They say pics are worth a 1000 words, but it’s almost impossible to put into words how surreal this experience was.

It is quite the privilege that we do not take lightly, that of serving Major League Baseball.

Earlier this week, our team was onsite serving the Texas Rangers Home Clubhouse a victorious post game meal! Collaborating with Yosuke Fukuda with Y’s Japanese Catering, we did a spread of a variety of sushi, Prime beef tenderloin, smoked turkey, sides and peach cobbler.

Saturday and Sunday we hosted the Kansas City Royals with postgame meals each day. Always enjoy serving our repeat MLB team that requests our services.

Later this week, we will cater the Texas Rangers Baseball Operations team as they begin preparations for the upcoming 2024 MLB, being held right here in Fort Worth! MLB All-Star Game will here here in a few short weeks!

We had the privilege of meeting Kerrin Laz with K. LAZ WINE Collection, from Yountville, CA during her recent whirlwind stop in Texas. Hand selected wines, chef curated food pairings and small group of guests made for an intimate evening of tasting!

We help curate a menu, you provide your favorite wines and spirits, and our team takes care of the rest. From Executive Chef service to professional servers and bartenders, this is quickly becoming a preferred way to dine in style.

Perfect weather for a Friday evening of fine dining under the stars. We were honored to host 40 guests for an "En Blanc" evening of cocktails, appetizers, entrees and dessert.

During cocktail hour, appetizers of Vegetarian Endives and Ahi Tuna Tacos were passed , along with a full bar offering. After a starting Texas Caesar Salad, with candied bacon and diced avocado, Guests were offered a choice of Prime Beef Tenderloin steak or Chilean Sea Bass as their main entree, paired with Boursin Whipped Potatoes and Grilled Asparagus Spears.

Wrapping up the evening, dessert included a choice of our Creme Brûlée or New York style Cheesecake, with a raspberry reduction.
