Never fear! Indigo Hall is here to breakdown everything you could possibly need in your wedding planning timeline!
We made this timeline in a 12 month format since that’s a common engagement length, but it can always be modified to be shorter or longer.
💍Save this and send it to a bride you know!

-Each month, we break down what details you need to plan, what you need to research and what you need to book. Take this with a grain of salt and move priorities around if you need to!

✨12 months out: the big goal here is to start figuring out what you need to make your wedding vision come to life. Determine your budget and start that guest list BEFORE you start looking at venues. Once you knock out those two big items, then you can start to research things like venues, caterers and planners/ coordinators.
✨10 months out: Make edits to your guest list. Get your family involved and ask if there’s anyone they want invited that isn’t already on the list. Brides, this is when you can start dress shopping. Start researching your florist, DJ and hotels for your guests to stay at. This is also when you’ll start booking what you spent the last 2 months researching (venue first, then planner/ coordinator and photo and video)
✨8 months out: finalize your guest list, order save the dates and start determining bridal party attire. Take this time to start researching things like bartenders and officiants and book your florist, DJ and caterer.
✨6 months out: send those save the dates and build your registry. Start thinking about dessert and honeymoon and book the things you researched on the last slide.
✨4 months out: here’s where you start to finalize things like design details and buy those wedding bands!
✨3 months out: send invitations and start figuring out what you need for a marriage license.
✨2 months out: schedule your final dress fitting. Take this time to relax and get excited!
✨1 month out: get your final guest count to the caterer and secure your marriage license!
✨month of: get those last few details like an emergency kit, your wedding day timeline, pass out contact list and you’re good to go!

🍕Late night snacks- guests work up an appetite breaking it down on the dance floor. We’ve seen couples bring out smash burger sliders, ice cream, pizza, burgers and fries and more!
🕯️ Candles- they are dreamy and romantic! Candles are perfect for creating a romantic, intimate feeling.
🍰 Dessert tables- from cookies to macrons to doughnuts to pies, more couples are opting for a small cake just to cut or even no cake at all and just going for a variation of desserts sure to please everyone!
☎️ Audio guestbooks- this may be our favorite! This guestbook doubles as a keepsake by allowing your guests to record you a message full of well wishes.
✨ Glow parties- LED foam glow sticks, glowing necklaces, bracelets and more are the perfect way to kick off and close the party out!
