As some of you may know, others may only understand a portion of what’s been going on in my life recently. In short my home had to be sold & I found a wonderful apartment I get to call MY OWN!
Those of you from my distant past may remember that the last time I truly lived on my own on my own was in the Apartment that I sadly lost to a catastrophic fire about 15 years ago.
It feels good to make a place my own. Decorating how I choose. Filling the fridge and pantry with MY favorite things.
And finally getting to enjoy cooking/ baking again! A wonderful page has been turned!
A sincere thank you to all those who have been there through it ALL. You are very few.
Those that couldn’t/didn’t stay, it’s ok. Life happens to us all.

It seems quite a few folks took my post and gofund me quite the wrong direction. I have enough stress from everything I have dealt with and still am thankful to be more stressed by hate speech and bullying to me privately.

Mainly from individuals who think they know what is/has been going on or believe they have a right to judge or confront me when pretty much no one in my life save for a few have even asked how I am coping with things.
The GoFundMe has been deleted. I will sort out how to move forward on my own as I have been and will continue to.
I truly thought my friend network might be the place to get just a little help in a time of need.
I see now that aside from those I have always relied upon or those who have reached out directly, that network is no more.

Unfortunately My house (formerly my Dad’s before his death) has been sold.

I’ve fought all I could but it just couldn’t be stopped or fixed; especially when I had to resign one of my jobs in Mid- January due to being hospitalized with a then unknown illness that almost took my life. Asking for any amount of help possible as it will all be helpful in securing me a home & giving me the means to get there.

Also, please be watching Marketplace as I am posting several many items from decor to appliances for sale.

This Photo By Drew is a passion project Decades in the making! I remember studying at my Papa’s knee from a very young age as he would photograph my Nannie and his home place, the evolution of our sleepy part of the world into a vibrant, thriving community. With his Nikon 35 mm he would often document through-the-lens our annual beach trips and even take his trusty snapshot sidekick to the front lines having been stationed in France at the onset of what would become The Vietnam War.

The art and effigy of documenting life runs deep in my veins and nothing thrills me more than that perfectly crafted shot or taking a risk by experimenting with new perspectives.

This Photo By Drew provides photography and videography assistance to local companies, service professionals to include event planning and special promotions as well as support for artists and craftsmen & craftswomen!

Eventures by Brittney is the heart and soul of this venture as providing footage and photographs for this amazing local visionary Gena Smith is truly what inspired me to Green Light this venture.

In the coming days I will be posting many gems from my past portfolios as well as coverage of some truly inspiring artwork by a local (yet-to-be-known) artist.
